If the hull and ball were a bit larger it would be more ergonomically sound, probably. Even without the laser it's great for presentations (and if you don't already know, you can change the size, shape, and color of your cursor to eliminate the need for a laser pointer, which is actually more 21st century.) Can relax my arms wherever, in my lap, etc, and scroll in comfort. Easy to use in either hand, even for someone as extremely right handed as I am. Also, I keep accidentally knocking it onto the ground bc I'm clumsy (this happens with all of my objects, so I wouldn't know if the design makes that more likely or not). I have also cleaned it with alcohol with good results. I dried it after cleaning by rolling it around. **Q: Will it work with my chromebook that has usb?** A: I have had a couple of these hand held USB mice. They typically last a couple years. **Q: the track ball come out to clean it. my others do.** A: if your mouse gets sluggish in responding, and the battery is good, try CLEANING THE INSIDE. to do this, place a pen point in that tiny hole to the left of the green ball and turn the black ring around the ball slightly counterclockwise to unlock it. then use a pin to pry the ring off and the ball will come right out, clean those 3 tiny rollers inside CAREFULLY (a pin works well for this and a cotton swab) and make sure there is no debris in the center whole on the lens. this USUALLY solves all problems and should only be necessary a few times a year depending how much you use it. to replace the ring just turn it clockwise after you put it in place to relock it. **Q: Can I connect this mouse to another receiver?** A: I am afraid this mouse can't connect another receiver. I love not having to worry about a surface like a normal mouse when I'm trying to click stuff on my living room PC is amazing. It's a lot easier to use than I expected. Not for gaming obviously but can still play turn based strategy with it. You might have trouble if you have large hands, the trigger well might be tight.
