Beautiful salt lamp with a dimmer, unfortunately, it arrived cracked, with visible fissures running through the surface. The seller and customer service is amazing! I had a quality issue and they were prompt to respond and make it right!

This is perfect. It is beautiful and functions as a great night light as well. I will most likely buy a couple more as gifts. It really adds to the ambience of a room.

The good: This is a very pretty lamp and I have it set up in my medical spa treatment room to give a relaxing ambiance during some treatments. It casts a nice glow on the room when the main light is off. We don't use it for massage balls but its neat to have that option. The bad: one of the salt balls is a very differnt color -off white, while the rest are orangish. It would look better if the color was consistant throughout. The lighbulb blew after about 12 uses of the lamp. The ugly: The lightbulb was almost impossible to change after it blew. After a lot of time consumed trying to pull the inner fixture with cage through the hole as it is supposed to be able to do, I finally used a screw driver to remove the entire bottom unit. Even then it was difficult to extract the inner chamber to get at the bulb. I had to use pliers to force it apart. This is a really bad design on that aspect. I'm only taking off 1 star for that because overall its a nice lamp once you get past that. Maybe I'll rig the fixture together a bit different so its easier to change the bulb.

This was the second version of this I purchased and the one I am keeping because it is MUCH higher quality than the first. But I think my expectations of how how the stones would get in these was off, hence the title. It will warm the top stone warm enough to use for massage, but that’s about it. For a real stone massage, I heat them in my old rice cooker, but this is great for setting on my desk and grabbing throughout the day for a quick hand warmer or to roll around my neck, etc. Pros: - came well protected (although it was in styrofoam, which is a also a con imo) - cage around the bulb protects the bulb from stones - the stones it came with are smoother and higher quality than the other one I had tried - gets warmer than the first one I’d tried Cons: - doesn’t warm all the stones (maybe a different bulb would help?) - was $35 vs $20 ish for the cheaper one (that didn’t have a bulb cage and didn’t heat the stones at all) - came packed in styrofoam (although this type IS recyclable in my area, that’s not common) Kind of digging for cons… I like it. Great stress reliever/mood light for office, living room or bedroom. I could see myself using it in any of those places.

The salt was fine, but the first time I plugged it in the bulb shattered. The other replacement bulbs were shattered as well. I bought some replacement bulbs and the bulb worked, but didn't dim anymore. The cord with the on/off switch got really hot when turned on for several hours. I went to turn it on today and it didn't come on. I requested a return and Amazon refunded my money but didn't ask for the lamp back. Piece of junk, I have a previous one from Himalayan Trading Co. It's been wonderful. Go there instead.

Solid product. Looked around at a ton to find a good product. If you’re looking for a small to mid size salt lamp wit a dimmer this is a great product.
