BEACH HOUSE, THE DVD

This is a very good movie! Shows family conflict can be resolved with grace!

If you enjoy the turtle story line, you'll love this movie! If you're into fast action, muscle guy movies, this might not be the one for you. It's great in that you get to watch the turtles and see real family dealing with hardship. Sometimes watching a movie it's like watching people playing a part. This one is more like watching a family interact. Great actors, Great storyline. Don't get me wrong, it's a sad time as the mom has cancer. But the overall story line is great!

The family getting together and the beach scenes helping the turtles. I didn't like that they give no hope for her healing from cancer. Chris beat cancer gives you so many healing options and help. Also, the green drinks the young girl made not being good tasting. You can absolutely make delicious green smoothies. Love the movie though, positive to get the family together.

I really like this movie and was so glad to see it for sale on Amazon! It’s a good story and a movie that I don’t get tired of watching.

This is a well-made Hallmark movie. My wife loved it. I thought it was OK. It's the story of a girl who goes home to her mom's beachfront house in North Carolina for a quickie visit, only to end up staying longer. An ex-boyfriend who never moved away looks her up and they start to rekindle their friendship. There's a bit of a twist to the plot and ending, but overall, this is a fairly standard Hallmark kid-goes-back-home type show. The only two things I thought were a bit off were: (1) there was a pregnant girl living with the mom and that storyline didn't get developed as much as it could have, so you are left wondering how she fits in, and (2) there is the obligatory hurricane that traps people in the house, except this one looked like a a very brief rainstorm that had few consequences and was over in a few minutes. All of the actors are very good in this one and they help make it into a decent movie.

I’ve been enjoying Hallmark Hall of Fame for as long as I can remember. Well done! I can’t afford all of the Hallmark channels so I just see the main one offered in my apartment complex. I prefer the movies and mysteries channel because of the style of music. Thanks.

A lovely movie, enjoyed the family dynamics.

Fabulous movie, excellent story line. It's a tear jerker, however based on reality I like Andie MacDowell, she's a wonderful actress. I have several earlier films Andie was actress in. A younger Chad Michael Murray was in the Cinderella Story 2004; I have the DVD. I was curious to see Andie & Chad in this story as older selves and how they evolved at actors. I was not disappointed. As a Sr. lady, I fully enjoyed this story and connected with the actors.
