Fits a thermacell perfectly
I don’t have to worry about bears where I hunt but the mosquitoes are horrible. This works perfect for holding a thermacell securely on my chest

Great water bottle holder for glass pouch holder
Nice for bottle water. Don't need bare spray can to use it.

Handy pouch. Made well and works well.
A good and handy pouch for bear/pepper sprays and other small items as needed on a walk or hike. I wanted something that would carry some bear spray when hiking instead of putting it in my pocket or a fanny pack. It has to be reachable quickly and without fumbling. This pouch fills the bill. It's labeled as a "binocular harness" but that's misleading. No binoculars will fit in this tall and narrow pouch. It's only for bear sprays and small, tall objects you can carry on your belt. The construction is good and sturdy. The material is just slightly stretchy. There are two ways to mount it on your belt or backpack strap. One method uses a large snap. I'd prefer Velcro fasteners, but this snap works fine too. There is a string closure on the top of you need it. I think the spray can is well protected and secure in the pouch. My can of pepper spray is quite a bit smaller than the pouch, so having the closure on top is good to keep it from falling out. The pouch should fit on almost any belt or backpack strap. The pouch is made well and fills a need for an easy way to carry spray and keep it available. It looks good too, but I'd prefer black for a color instead of the drab green look. It looks good, and matches other products from this company. I think the price is a bit high, but it should last for many years of hiking.

Excellent product
Vortex Optics GlassPak Pro Binocular Harness Bear Spray Pouch Attachment I ordered this Vortex pouch not because I needed it for bear spray, but because I figured it would work perfectly to snugly hold a water bottle, and it does exactly that. The adjustability allows for various uses. The overall quality is superb, which is what I've come to expect from anything with the Vortex badge. The material is soft, flexible, and slightly stretchable, and the stitching is clean with no visible loose threads anywhere. It has a nice, clean appearance. The inside is lightly padded on the front and back panels, along with the bottom, while the sides use a single layer of material. The web snap closes with a satisfying, confident click, and the drawstring on top works exactly as you'd hope. The cord lock is permanently attached, so there's no worrying about losing it or ending up with a sloppy fit over time. While this pouch is designed for the Vortex GlassPak system, it also works easily on a belt or any tactical vest with a MOLLE attachment system, which gives it a lot of versatility beyond its original purpose. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this order. It might seem pricey, but it's a good value for the quality you get in return.

Fantastic holster for bear spray, perfect for backpacking
I’m super happy to recommend this bear spray holster. For the cost, this is an extremely high quality holster for a can of bear spray. It’s lightweight, easy to mount to backpack straps or belts, quick to pull out, and overall just easy to use. The back loop can snap and unsnap easily and quickly. Lots of versatility on how you use this. My son and I take long backpacking trips up in the Rockies, and this is a wonderful little addition to my backpacking kit, especially when we are in bear or mountain lion country. I find it comfortable to wear on my. Belt, but honestly prefer to have it strapped on my backpack. My Sabre spray canister fits perfectly and securely. The top cinches around the top of the bottle and holds it perfectly. For the price, this is one of the nicer options, but I think you’ll be happy to trade price for quality here.

A Tough, Versatile Vortex Add-On
In typical Vortex fashion, this GlassPak Pro Bear Spray Pouch delivers high quality across the board. It’s a great accessory that integrates perfectly with the GlassPak system, but it’s also versatile enough to be used for other purposes. As others have mentioned, it’s not limited to bear spray—anything around the size of a standard 16oz water bottle fits nicely, which adds to its overall usefulness. The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Vortex. The coyote brown color is spot-on, and the materials feel rugged and durable. The side straps are thick and strong—borderline military-grade—and the stitching is tight and reliable. Even the drawstring feels reinforced and unlikely to fray or wear out over time and closes nicely, which is a nice touch. Inside, it’s lined for added protection and durability, which shows attention to detail. For the price, it lines up well with the level of quality you’re getting. If you’re already running a GlassPak or need a tough, reliable pouch for the field, this is an easy recommendation—just grab this one and be done with it.
