Thermarest Compressible Pillow Cinch L ONE SIZE OUTERSPACE

I was initially underwhelmed on opening the pillow, it was really quite limp and thin, however on plumping it up started to resemble a decent pillow. On trying it my opinion quickly changed, uncinched it is comfy and soft yet supportive, then cinching it to suit my slightly firmer preference it became perfect. When it is rolled back into case it is actually still very usable as a very firm pillow, I feel that I will use it in all of its configurations. Packed size it is 12x8x6 inches Fully open it is 21x13x7.5 inches This is the large pillow. I am a side sleeper and I feel that this will serve me well.

Compact. Works as intended.

Bought a regular. Suitably big enough for full support of head and some wiggle room. No more blow up pillows for me in my camps. This pillow is a bit bulkier but also a game changer for a good night's sleep.

Easy to use, on initial opening you need to shake the pillow out , buy after that its brilliant. There is a pull cord on the side that enables you to adjust the firmness to your liking and it does have an attached stuff sack. The only slight downside is that it doesn't pack down that small, but then sometimes comfort wins the size battle! Excellent product from Thermarest, well worth the money.

It folded so was easy to carry and did not take up too much room, not particularly comfortable to sleep on and not value for money.

Really happy with these, can use at home as cushions and then pack down for camping!

Fine, but it came in a paper bag, would be nice if the manufacture delivered it in a pillowbag.

Definitely the best camping pillow I’ve tried. Many high end or inflatable pillows offgass far too much for my comfort. I’m chemical sensitive but, even if I wasn’t, I think it’s important to be able to place my head on a pillow that doesn’t have a strong odour. Because the filling is made using offcuts from the foam from Thermarest sleep mats, this pillow is non-toxic and odourless. I can breathe in nature while I sleep! A nostril full of the scent of a chemical wasteland kind of counterintuitive to camping. It expands quickly, it’s a decent size. It comes close (or the closest) to a standard pillow in comfort. I like that it’s not so flat that my head has no support and that the drawstring on the back means the firmness is adjustable. I’ve used it both for hammock camping and in a tent on a sleep mat and it worked well for both.

Pillow is quite comfortable and in my opinion is a major improvement over most inflatable pillows out there. However, be aware that it is quite bulky and may not be the best choice for ultralight backpacking.

I used this for a full week of camping and it was surprisingly comfortable. I put a pillowcase over it and it was perfect. It's not as comfortable as a traditional pillow, but for the space saving it's definitely worth it!
