Super nouveau livre de Gabriel Allon avec tous les anciens acteurs

I have read most, if not all of Daniel Silva's books & happily enjoyed this read as well. I actually preferred the suspense & espionage of his Mossad writing days to this, which was primarily art centered. Certain parts lent themselves to a political agenda much akin to CNN of which Silva's wife is associated. Of course there was the intrigue for which Silva has become famous.

Un bon Gabriel Allon restaurateur et enquêteur ..

I have lost count of how many Julys I mark my birthday getting my hands on a new Gabriel Allon adventure. Including Silva’s new book in my reading list has reached the status of a summer ritual. It is hard to objectively review each new installment when they have become so intertwined with my life events, and yet it is safe to say that each one is always a fun and gripping read. Loyal readers will once again enjoy all the refences to past adventures and won’t fail to notice that this is a renewed Allon, one that has found a happy place in his life and somehow mellowed, dispelling past traumas. The compelling plot is there, as are the action sequences and unexpected twists, and predictably, once you enter the final hundred pages you know you will only stop at the end. Enjoy.
