Maybe...maybe not.
Verdict is still out on this one. Been playing with Arduino sketches available online. The sketches work but when I try to actually do something with the distance it gives I’m having some trouble. I think it has something to do with the serial buffer. I posted a request for help on the Arduino Forum. Will see if I can get it sorted. The reason I took off a star is because I often have to disconnect and reconnect the wire harness. Wish it just had pin outs for soldering like other sensors. Honestly not sure this thing is going to work for me. Nobody online is really talking much about this sensor. Just basic operation and setup which doesn’t really help.

BENEWAKI IS THE SOURCE OF THIS UNIT. YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE FROM BENEWAKI TO USE THIS UNIT. I HAVE FOUND IT IMPOSSIBLE TO DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE AND BENEWAKI REFUSES TO ANSWER EMAILS ABOUT IT.
