As you hold the loaf and realize how hefty in weight and size it is and open the package, the aroma is the first thing that bursts forth and you find yourself breathing deeply that entrancing scent, as the rest of the world seemingly disappears, isolating the moment, excited and startled, anticipating the wonderful flavor you are about to experience. Larger than usual slices also add to the drama and joy. Placed into the toaster, the kitchen fills with that singular euphoric "just baked" bouquet and with saliva juices mounting and billowing forth, just as you hear that all too familiar jolting "pop" that signifies your toast is done, you ponder devouring yet another slice. But then you remember the price, and your brain and taste buds come to a screeching halt. Yet you slowly realize that although pricey, life is too short not to allow yourself the simple pleasures that make life the greatest gift of all. And so you secretly decide to only reorder for those wisely chosen events that can only be signified as "special". Now the question remains whether you can wait that long! After delighting numerous times in a lightly toasted slice smothered with Amish cultured unsalted raw butter, I venture into unknown territory, and gulp down a freshly selected seemingly gargantuan slice straight from the package, amazed at the sublime taste and texture that fills and entices that orifice of rapture called my mouth. Do I recommend this product? You can bet your sweet ass I do! Review: A delightful find! - The taste is incredibly delicious. Makes a wonderful sandwich or toast. I was completely surprised it was so very good. Even though it is pricey, I have chosen to reorder for its taste, nutrition & the joy of savoring bread that I can eat on a very restricted diet! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00DX6ERC0 | | Best Sellers Rank | #405,045 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #524 in Bread Mixes | | Brand | Virginia Gourmet | | Brand Name | Virginia Gourmet | | Container Type | Cane,Pack-contains | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 155 Reviews | | Flavor | Spelt | | Item Form | Loaf | | Item Package Weight | 6 pounds | | Item Weight | 4 pounds | | Model Number | Non-GMO Spelt Bread | | Number of Pieces | 2 | | Package Weight | 6 pounds | | Part Number | Non-GMO Spelt Bread | | Size | 1.87 Pound (Pack of 2) | | UPC | 071962800564 | | Unit Count | 28 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Virginia Gourmet - **Flavor:** Spelt - **Item Weight:** 4 pounds - **Number of Pieces:** 2 - **Package Weight:** 6 pounds ## Images ![All Natural Spelt Bread (Ezekiel Bread) -2 PACK-Contains Fresh Stone Ground Spelt Flour, Water, Pure Cane Sugar, Yeast, Sea Salt - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91lIrp9YmRL.jpg) ![All Natural Spelt Bread (Ezekiel Bread) -2 PACK-Contains Fresh Stone Ground Spelt Flour, Water, Pure Cane Sugar, Yeast, Sea Salt - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91qb6gC+5BL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How many grams of sugar?** A: The minimum amount of sugar is used for the baking process of this bread. **Q: How many net carbs are there per slice** A: About 10 grams net carbs per slice which is 40 calories of net carbs per slice. **Q: in what sense is this ezekiel bread?** A: I’m not sure it is. Even though it is pricey, I have chosen to reorder for its taste, nutrition & the joy of savoring bread that I can eat on a very restricted diet! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tasting spelt bread *by M***3 on December 12, 2023* I've been looking for a spelt bread ever since Whole Foods stopped carrying Rudi's Organic Spelt bread. This is by far the best tasting spelt I've found out there. The only drawback is the price. It's expensive and then there's shipping on top of that. I will continue to purchase though, until there's a spelt in one of the stores nearby. ## Frequently Bought Together - All Natural Spelt Bread (Ezekiel Bread) -2 PACK-Contains Fresh Stone Ground Spelt Flour, Water, Pure Cane Sugar, Yeast, Sea Salt - Snacktery Spelt Melba Toast Crackers - Wholesome Thin and Crispy Spelt Crackers - Mini Toasts for Dips, Spreads, Salads - 7 Oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/6854510-all-natural-spelt-bread-ezekiel-bread-2-pack-contains-fresh](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/6854510-all-natural-spelt-bread-ezekiel-bread-2-pack-contains-fresh) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
