ProKeeper Fresh Guacamole Storage Container with Airtight Lid, 4-Cup, Green

YUP - it works. It does keep my guacamole from turning brown many days after it's made. Like many other, I don't like the seal around the lid - guacamole gets inside between the seal and lid. But it's a price to pay for an awesome container that helps with keeping the avacados fresh. When I make guacomole, I use 2 avacados and this container holds both with room left over. I do recommend this product.

I made guacamole 8 days ago and used this for the first time. I put it in the fridge and forgot about it for 3 days. It looked perfect and tasted amazing. There was about half of the 3 avocado guac I made left. I rinsed the lid, especially the rubber rim gasket, used a silicone spatula to wipe down the sides. I piled it like a triangle with the majority in the middle so that the lid could press the guac down while removing the air. Put it in the fridge for another 5 days. Took it out tonight for dinner. It was again perfect. There was a tiny amount of browning where the gasket met the bowl. It didn't affect anything I spooned out all the guac except for the rim mark. It was as fresh as the day I made it, maybe better. The saver cleans easily and is one of the best things I've bought. I almost returned it because it was a bit large and I never make that much. So glad I kept it as it works for any size batch. Awesome product!!!!

Can't have Guac storage without this wonderful gadget. Easy pres-down slider keeps guacamole air-tight without browning & wasting it. I bought this on sight ! The two issues are: 1) Bottom of top piece gets encrusted between two tight layers, & doesn't come clean in regular soaking or washing. Must use a thin knife to scrape it out. 2) When pressing down on guac. with lid, some of it squeezes out the edges, & must be gotten with a knife, then rinsed: just another step.

This container even worked better than I thought it would. Keeps the guacamole fresh longer.

Best Buy. I made guacamole a week ago and it was still green. The taste was still fantastic. Highly recommended

It works, if you have your guacamole perfectly smooth and you push the lid down perfectly straight. The problem is how it vents.

If you don't like brown / black guacamole, you will love this keeper! It pressed out the st and keeps guacamole fresh longer. I like it so much that I bought one for my cousin as her family likes guacamole too.

How refreshing to find a product that actually does what it's supposed to do. There is a very slight learning curve in how to use it properly, but once you get used to it, it works like a charm. It really does form an airtight seal. I'm not really sure how long it will keep because guacamole never lasts very long in my house, but I can comfortably say it will stay fresh for at least one week and probably a good bit longer than that. When it comes to cleaning, it is imperative to take apart the lid and clean it thoroughly, but it is very easy to do and very easy to reassemble. Hand washing is recommended and that is what I do. I have not tried putting it in the dishwasher. This product is not just for guacamole; you can use it for Chicken Salad, Egg Salad, Tuna Salad, etc. Overall, I'm happy with it and glad I bought it.
