I recently bought he Glow by Daye Satin Lined Shower Cap for the fifth time. I buy these for my wife and daughters every year to give them a new shower cap. While the caps last longer than a year, I just like buying them new ones as part of their hair box. These have become their go‑to for protecting their hair in the shower. I had looked for a large reusable shower cap because my locs, & Not microlocs BTW, hang to the base of my back and had grown too thick and heavy for disposable hotel caps or the reusable ones bought in hair stores despite my trying them. When I bought this purple Glow By Daye cap early this year, I was Not disappointed! I love the adjustable drawstring that I just tuck underneath starting near my ear and it rarely comes out. It keeps my locs protected while showering and I've even used it satiny side-in for an occasional sleeping cap. Unfortunately, I lost it somehow while traveling but I ordered another and be getting my new one on Friday! Yay! :)

I liked this product for the last year that I used it. It's quite large and I don't have a lot of hair so it was a bit overwhelming for my head but that's fine. It served it's purpose and covered my hair in the shower. The reason I knocked off one star is because the little rubber clasp thing that's used to adjust it has disintegrated after a year. I know it's only a $20 product but I feel like I could have used this a lot longer if the adjusting mechanism was different. The inner and outer fabric is still in perfect condition so I feel like it's got a lot of life left to it but I'm forced to throw it out because it doesn't stay on my head in the shower anymore.

I love this shower cap! I always pull my hair into a loose bun under my shower cap so need one that will keep my hairline from getting wet. The ties on this cap allow you to pull the tension around your head very tight, which keeps the water from getting to the hair. The cap is also roomy enough to hold both very long and medium long hair, even when pulled into a bun on the top or a loose bun lower down on your head. My only problem is the long string that is left hanging loose once you pull the tension tight. When I tucked that into the cap it has allowed some water to get in under that area, so now I just let it hang loose and move it aside when it gets in the way. A slight nuisance, but I still love this shower cap overall.

I'm so glad that I purchased this shower cap. It is great for every day use. If you have a lot of hair, long hair or a big head this shower cap will work well for you. It is also large enough to use if you have any braid or weave styles. I like the color and the addition of the hearts all over it. The best part of this shower cap other than being able to easily repel water is that it is satin lined with a drawstring! Plus++!! Hopefully they will make more colors soon. I would definitely recommend this shower cap from Glow by Daye!

Great satin lined cap will keep curls frizz free while in the shower or bath. Nice loose fit with tightening toggle perfect for medium length hair.

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a long time and can’t believe I’ve had this for over a year now. There is no smell and gas never leaked. I use it several times a week while showering and it has no mildew smell despite me being gross and never washing :/ - but always hanging it to dry after. It has plenty of room for all types of hair. Love this product!

the shower cap is comfy and large enough for thick and long hair. It is also thick and stretchy because you can use the pull string. Well made. However, the two times I’ve used it in the shower, I was surprised that my hair was practically soaked. I wasn’t happy because of the time it takes to straighten my hair and I had an appointment right after. So no saving grace there. Had to go 3A curly. The pull string is very long and I managed to store it under the shower cap. Thankfully it can pull tightly. Hence my surprise at the wet hair. Went to local pharmacy and found a much better shower cap at a lower price. Honestly, this is better as a great silk cap at night. I hope this isn’t everyone’s experience.

Terrible, low quality shower cap. The adjustable slider does not stay in place, and it does not create a waterproof seal. My hairline gets soaked no matter what. I also placed my order on March 31st, and the item shipped on April 24th - just abysmal. Don’t waste your time and money.

This is not a shower cap. This is a satin bonnet. It is not waterproof in the least.

I got this and immediately tested it by spraying it with water. It IMMEDIATELY soaked through. Returned.
