What Deutsch contacts and connector families does this tool work with?

Designed for Deutsch DT/DTM/DTP/HD series solid contacts, covering Size 12/16/20 and the wire range 12–22 AWG. Please confirm you’re using solid contacts, not open-barrel/stamped terminals.

I hate rework—how does it help keep crimps consistent?

The full-cycle ratcheting mechanism completes a full crimp stroke before release, reducing partial/under-crimps. The turret positioner helps align the contact, lowering the chance of mis-crimps.

What’s the real benefit of the turret positioner in a shop?

For high-volume harness work, the turret speeds up alignment and size changes, reducing setup time and rework—ideal for batch jobs and fast repairs.

Trackside or trail repairs need speed—how does it help?

The turret positioner makes alignment and size switching faster, reducing setup time. The full-cycle ratchet also helps prevent partial crimps in high-pressure situations.

Will the crimps hold up under heavy vibration?

Reliability comes from the right contact, wire gauge, and proper crimp. This tool helps achieve a more repeatable crimp profile through alignment + full-cycle crimping.
