One thing I will say thank you to the person who wrote a review and mentioned about the springs and the instructions! The instructions come a lot clearer now and I think it's because of you ! So thank you. Second I (25f)built this with my partner (27m) it's took us two days between start and stop as we have two little ones. I read the instructions prepped stuff while he did the building in it self with my help. I would say keep in mind that the screws to hold this unit against the wall don't come with so you have to buy separate. One thing I would do differently is leave the springs for last build everything else as once you put the springs in you can no longer open the unit without it coming down on you! I would definitely say 3 people as everyone says would be best but don't panic if it's just you and someone else you can most definitely do it but you need patience a lot of it.

**Q: What’s the height from the floor to the underside of the bed? I.e how high up from the ground...**
A: Hello, 
From the floor to the frame of the bed is around 20cm.

**Q: Is there a gap at the pillow end/ will the pillows fall down the gap ?**
A: There is a gap but you have a strap that you put over the pillows and there's one near the bottom .I always pull the pillows up and put them long ways.

**Q: When erecting this walk bed, is glue needed at all? Or is it just screws**
A: It is just screwwed and bolted together - it is very heavy when complete and needs at least 2 people to assemble.  Watch out that you have the pieces the right way round as the instruction's pictures change direction and can be confusing.

**Q: Please recommend a matress for this bed?**
A: Hello, 

The mattress should be 140cmx200cm and the most important thing is that tt can not be more than 18cm thick otherwise you will not be able to close the bed properly.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Murphy bed

If you buy this bed, be prepared to spend some considerable time putting it together. It took 2 of us 12 hours to complete, I am an experience carpenter. The instructions and the video are in places unclear and vague. Thankfully my son and I are gifted with some common sense and experience, so putting things in the right place first helped. You learn fast which holes are which for the fittings. Make sure you have a large room that is empty. Part way through the making you’ll be left with 2 large bits of furniture that will need to be put together. The springs are a nightmare to put in, you need to do it with the bed raised, not clear in the instructions. DO NOT OPEN THE BED UNTIL FIXED TO THE WALL!! Nice sturdy bed when erected and fitted. An Ikea double mattress fits perfectly. The catch for the bed is a little feeble for the weight of the bed. But other than that, pretty good and worth the money.
