Question for those of you that have had this set for over a year now,how well has it held up?

I have had this set for over 20 years and it has held up perfectly except for one problem. The front wood piece in the seat bowed out slightly so the bottom of the storage space was sagging. But, remember, that's on a piece over 20 years old. BTW, I fixed it by installing a piece of 1 x 2 inside the storage bin in the middle using a pocket screw on each end to remove the bow.

What is a depth of the seats? Is it possible to put benches is another orientation, not as on the picture?

The seats are 14 3/4" or 37 cm. And yes, you can attach the benches so that they are the opposite of the picture, long on the right and short on the left.

can the coner be change from left to right.

Don't pay attention to answers that say "I believe...". I've had this set for over 20 years with the long side on the right. I recently remodeled my kitchen amd moved the set to another room where I reversed it so the long side is on the left. So the answer is yes, you can choose the configuration.
