As I have narrower trunking in my walls, this seemed a viable option with a Hive Bulb.Unfortunately an electrician came to fit them, and we noticed straight away that the bulb buzzed a little. The bulb worked when prompting Alexa to turn the bulb off. Unfortunately the light switch reverts to STANDBY or OFF at this command, as when prompting Alexa to turn it back on, Hive was ‘not responding’. We figured that a normal light switch is left on while a Hive Bulb is switches on and off parapathetically. This fancy switch goes to Standby/Off which then means there is not electricity going to the bulb, which means it will not function with the Hive/Alexa hub.If you are buying them just as light switches - they are very neat indeed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Need a deep back box *by O***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 July 2018* Looks very nice on the wall. The back of it is quite chunky so you need a deep back box behind it to house it. I only had 25mm back box which I didn't know until I purchased it so I made a little mitred box frame so it sits proud of the wall and has enough room behind. Very satisfying to use. Does a little 'beep' when turning on and off. The ring light is bright enough to see in the dark so you're not fumbling around.
