I have searched for several months to find the proper socks for my son to wear under his daytime & nighttime AFOs. After trying a dozen (or more) different styles/brands, these are fantastic. The socks are comfortable and a great length for taller AFOs, too. The upper portion is nice for people with Hemiparesis or like conditions as some other socks look as though they are cutting off circulation. These held up nicely in the washer & dryer. I don’t know how well they absorb bedtime sweat but plan on finding out tonight. I will be showing his Orthotist so they can recommend to other clients.For reference: My 21 yo is 5’8” & 133 pounds.

I can't say that wearing a walking boot is pleasant. But these socks have made it bearable. The compression is there, but I don't notice it. They give me lots of room for my toes. They come up about an inch above the boot so that the boot does not rub my leg. I received all four socks, and they are holding up well. Having four socks for one boot means I always have a clean one while the others are being washed. I hope I never have to make this purchase again, but if I did I would buy these again.

These were a lifesaver after my ankle injuries. The socks allowed my ankles to remain swollen without the normal tightness of socks. I am four months out of surgery and my ankle still flairs up so I need the extra stretch from these socks. Without these socks, I start cutting off my circulation. I have used and abused these by wearing them daily. I will say the stitching starts to come out with multiple washes. Sometimes the threads get stuck around other clothes in the washer. I have to cut the string and move on. I am happy with the quality and cushion these socks provide.

Fractured my ankle and perfect to wear under my tall boot. Bought two sets, so I only have to wash once a week. Never slides and is lightweight, but thick enough to do it’s job.

Keep looking. The bottom of the sock is decent. It is smooth and comfy. It didnt 100% prevent odor but it wasn't horrible. The top of the sock is horrible though. I have smaller legs not tiny. I only weigh 155. These socks left groves and indents in my legs that itched and burned for like an hour after taking them off.

Worth the Money,this is what you need!!!!100% breathable, comfly, and also if you had tibia surgery, i would recommend this, for leg sensitivity!!!
