Bosch Cordless Grass Trimmer AdvancedGrassCut 36 (without battery, 36 Volt system, in carton packaging)

It took a little while to assemble the strimmer (tip - the diagrams are towards the back of the thick multilingual manual, the English text near the front - use bookmarks!), and text/diagrams not 100% clear (more like 80-90%). Once assembled, it worked very well. Contrary to a few reviews, I found it quite manageable, not too heavy, although maybe someone a bit slighter might need a shoulder strap. Battery life seems good. One point to note: the strimmer line is automatically fed out 1cm each time you stop the device, so don't stop/start frequently or you will waste a lot of line! I noticed that when the battery got close to exhaustion, while the strimmer still worked effectively (although noticeably less so than on a full charge), line didn't get automatically fed out. I previously used a petrol; strimmer and am very pleased to move across to this strimmer (normally recharged via the solar panels). It is marginally less powerful than the old petrol one, but that is an advantage as the petrol one kicked up lots more debris/stones, etc. One other useful feature: an adjustable plant protector which you can extend out the front to stop your plants/shrubs/trees etc, being flayed by the strimmer line. It's also convenient as I deliberately bought the 36v model which is compatible with my Bosch cordless lawn mower. Recommended.

I’ve actually owned an electric flymo strimmer for near on 30 years and yes it’s still working. But I’m now going to give it away to our new neighbour in the hope of encouraging him to trim his grass edges. We don’t need it anymore since buying this incredible Cordless Bosch. It’s absolutely brilliant. Light weight and powerful. There’s a bit of grassy waste ground next to our garden and we like to keep a clear pathway through it beside our hedge. I couldn’t wait until next summer to get trying out this new Bosch so I road tested it today Nov 23rd 2022. And I’ve been blown away by this incredible machine. It cleared the whole area in ten minutes, ten minutes, it always took me more than half an hour with my trusty old flymo mostly due to being careful watching its cable and not tripping on it. Do I recommend this new cordless Bosch? You bet I do. Wish I’d bought it much, much sooner. All my garden equipment is now cordless Bosch including my hedge trimmer’s and leaf blowers. And so I’ve plenty of batteries to keep me going long enough to complete any of my garden tasks. Thank You Bosch for another great product. Excellent service and product from the seller. Heavier than I expected and hence tiring to use. Battery life is good and it cuts well. However, the speed is not variable (unlike my previous Black & Decker) so it is a bit too vicious around tree trunks and wooden fence posts and actually damages them. I wish I could have the high speed and long battery life of the Bosch with the lightweight and variable speed of the B&D.

Haven't had it long, but its a lot lighter than the semi brush cutter I previousy used. I needed heavy duty once, but not so much these days and I'm glad I made the switch. It seems to be well made, I don't think I'm going to need to use a harness with it but they arent expensive as an aftersale item. It does have auto feed for the cord. I was worried about that at first, but with a little planning you don't have to stop and start too often and it has occurred to me that this may well have been built in as a way to optimise the run time - I used to regularly find that my bump feed cutter was running with a pretty short cord and therefore cutting less efficiently. It is a fairly expensive tool so I'm hoping that it will last long enough to feel like value. I already had a suitable battery ( the really expensive part) and that certainly influenced my choice. Don't know what I'd have ended up with otherwise!

The description on the amazon site is not very clear. It is very like the "ART 30-36 LI Cordless Grass Trimmer Without Battery and Charger, Cutting Diameter 30 cm" That is to say it is the newer model. It is a very good machine and takes the same battery as my 36V hedge trimmer, which I have had some time so I knew the power was there. This one has a swivel head for edging (which it does not mention in the description, nor the photos, which seem to be from the earlier version) a great feature. All in all I would recommend this to anyone, but do bear in mind that it does not come with a battery, but if you already have a bosch 36v Lion battery it should fit.

I was sick and tired of the petrol strimmer not starting. When that worked it cut thr the weeds like butter. But after every winter it would never start so decided to go cordless. After buying a second hand bosch mower that takes the same battery, I decided to buy this new. Would definitely recommend it. Bit on the heavy side but it's no heavier than a petrol strimmer which it directly competes with. I'm going to attach a shoulder strap like I had on my petrol strimmer to make it easier to carry.

I had no problems with this trimer for 18 months until the bearing seized, about mid way through the second year. Unfortunately I didnt learn the lesson and being trapped in the battery eco system I compounded the problem and bought a second one without the battery. Needless to say the second one has also failed again due to the bearing being partially seized at the start of the second season. Dismantling the unit reveals that the bearing is not a replaceable item. I have no idea why the bearing is failing as its cutting the same grass as the Bosch electric mower. Yes the bearing on the mower is noisy but its now over 6 years old and it still cuts the grass

A little on the heavy side but can handle thick growth easily and battery life looks good, feels well made and should last.

Handig en goed toestel , als je al een grasmachine hebt met dezelfde batterij, alleen ietwat meer draad nodig omdat hij autmatisch werkt bij iedere opstart de draad op optimale lengte brengt, Regelbare snelheid perfect.

Acheté pour remplacer le même coupe bordure 36 volts qui avait été acquit en 2019. Le prix de la pièce défaillante (plaque électronique principale) coûtait plus chère en pièce détachée (130 € sur le site BoschSAV), que l’article acheté en promo (99,90 €). Autrement , appareil vraiment efficace, puissant et permet même de couper des herbes hautes. Le Top !

Un coupe bordure vraiment performant. Utilisé pour les finitions du jardin, le 36v donne sans conteste un avantage indéniable. Avec une batterie 4 ah, l'autonomie est appréciable, largement plus de 30 minutes. Il coupe tout, je n'ai que les jeunes pouce d'arbre qui lui résiste ou les mauvaises herbes ligneuses. Un produit 36 de la gamme Bosch à posséder Compatible avec les batteries pour outillage pro.

Muy cómoda y fácil de usar y de cambiar el hilo, a penas suena y la puede usar hasta una persona bajita. mejor tener 2 baterías dependiendo el uso que le vayas a dar. recomendable.
