Decent kit, fast transfer.

Great drive. It feels solid and robust rather than cheap or flimsy, and having USB-C makes it very convenient with newer devices. Transfer speeds over USB-C are also very fast compared with the older USB drives I have used. Compact, well made and quick — exactly what I wanted from it.

I bought this to transfer data from an very old (usb) laptop to a new (usb-c) one. The files copied into the device easily once it was formatted, but they were called corrupt by the new device. I repeated the process from another file, and the same thing happened. So it seems my old laptop has been corrupted. I have managed to transfer files the other way, so the device isn’t the issue. I love the size and durability of it, and overall it’s got good storage capacity for the money. I’d recommend it if you know your files are fine. It was easy to install with my MacBook and laptop. (It pops up when you plug it in).

I am very pleased with this. I had to back up everything on my PC before repairs to it . This USB drive has more than enough space and the back up was very quick. Excellent value for money.

Very well made item - has both c and a connections. Fast write speed. I bought it for putting a customers files on - and would certainly buy again for the same purpose. It was easy to use and the dual connections meant it would work on just about anything…. Phone, computer or even TV. I bought the 64GB which was more than enough for this use.

Speedy and the double-ended connectors make it more flexible for sharing stuff between desktop and mobile. Only possible downside would be that one connector is always exposed to dust and dirt, so don't leave it lying around in the bottom of your bag with half-eaten pizza crusts that your dog has been hiding in there.

Works well and seems good quality. One minor point perhaps, but only one port is protected when the device is not in use. It could possibly be damaged or encounter dust/dirt.

Compré esta Lexar D40E de 256 GB porque necesitaba una memoria USB‑C pequeña y fiable para mover archivos entre el portátil, el móvil y la tablet, y la verdad es que me ha sorprendido para bien. Es muy compacta, pesa poquísimo y el diseño giratorio metálico da una sensación de calidad que no tienen muchas memorias de este precio. La velocidad es más que suficiente para uso diario: transferencias rápidas, sin cortes y sin calentarse demasiado incluso con archivos grandes. Además, al ser USB‑C, no tengo que estar usando adaptadores ni buscando puertos USB‑A, lo cual es un alivio si usas dispositivos modernos. El acabado en color champán plateado queda elegante y no parece un producto barato. El mecanismo giratorio es firme, no baila, y protege bien el conector cuando la llevas en el bolsillo o en la mochila.
