Fantastic item! Perfect size and they have thought of it all. The mesh top is great, having a metal filter instead of plastic is really important because plastic can erode over time and you don't need those micro plastics in your drink. The spigot makes pouring easy for secondary fermentation and when it comes to cleaning time, it fits in your dishwasher. Overall this company has been fantastic, I've bought other products from them like the kombucha heating mat which has worked incredibly well also. Would highly recommend.

I compared many of the Kombucha jars both on and off Amazon. I purchased 2 of these one gallon jar sets, as the jars are from the reliable Yorkshire glassware brand. The spigots are robust stainless steel and easy to clean. The set includes the mesh insert for your flavoring fruit or herbs, which alone costs $12 to $15. They even include a temperature gauge, elastic cloth cover, screw-on lid and spigot cleaning brush. Very nice set.

I recently decided to start brewing kombucha at home and I felt these were the perfect bottles/jars. The cloth cover is really helpful. I like the shape and quality of the bottles. They’re very sturdy and having the spigot helps a lot with decanting. I bought two and now I plan to make all of my own kombucha at home. My first batch turned out really well.

The first time I tried to make kombucha, the whole bottom cracked and broke. What a disappointment! Only gave a star in order to write the review,

I bought two of these jars that arrived at the same time. It appears one was thin and cracked overnight first use! The other was fine. I made one large batch of tea and put it in the jars at same time. It says to let the tea cool- it was by no means hot, I held my hand in it to make sure the temp because these are glass containers. Pretty disappointed it cracked for the price!

O filtro não é bom, pois deixa passar resíduo. Com o filtro, fica difícil deixar o scooby crescer. Além disso, a garrafa veio trincada.
