Keeping kitty regular
I have a senior cat. He's normally very regular. So when he didn't poop in the box for over a day, I got concerned. The reviews from other pet owners really helped. I ordered it and pay a little extra for same day delivery. It was very much worth it. I would say it started working for him after about half a day. This is after only one dose. I squeezed about an inch worth onto a plate; then I use my finger to smear it on the top of his mouth. I let him smell it first and he didn't back away. So I cannot attest to if it actually tastes good, but it definitely didn't taste bad. I've seen his reactions on other stuff that he didn't like the taste of. I highly recommend it both for the value and for the effectiveness of the product.

Best hairball control gel I have found
This product was suggested by my vet after several months of frustration dealing with hairballs and constipation with my long-haired cat. He refuses to let us brush him. On the suggestion of the vet tech, we started giving it to him through a medication syringe. It is thin enough to go through a syringe, but not a liquid. Putting it on his paw and shutting him on a inside back porch so he didn't track it through the house didn't work. He simply "flung it" onto the walls. However my short-haired cat immediately licks it off her paws, so obviously likes the taste. It takes 1 to hold the male cat and a 2nd to squirt the gel, but it works well.

Very Good Product
So, my ragdoll cat has been puking up hairballs off and on over the last few months. Over time, it became more frequent and now has become a daily occurrence. And of course, since all cats seem to manage to hold in their pukes until they can reach the carpet, they also leave those horrible puke stains that, for the life of me, can't get out of the carpet. I finally found this Cat Lax 2 and hoped for the best. The package was delivered on a Sunday, which was awesome. I love when our deliveries are not delayed by the weekend. I gave my cat the recommended dosage first by putting some on my finder and letting him smell it. He wouldn't go for it. The instructions say that if your cat won't take it, to put some on their paw so they can lick it off. I tried that but it looked like he was going to take off and leave tracks all over the house. So I had to wipe it off his paw and instead I just put some directly in the back of his mouth. The first day, he puked. I gave it to him again the next day...he puked. BUT, by the third day, he stopped puking. I gave him a dose daily for the first 5 days. After that, I've been giving it to him every couple of days. It's been a couple of weeks now and he hasn't coughed up any hairballs! He's not thrilled with the taste of it, meaning he won't take it on his own, but it isn't hard for me to give it to him and only takes a second. All in all, I'm very happy with this product and recommend it if your cat is having problems with hairballs. Here is a picture of my cat.

Every cat is different and mine didn't react like previous reviews. It's a 50/50 for me!
I read the reviews and so I ordered it to try it on my cat seeing he wasn't going regularly to his litter box after his meals. It didn't really work for his constipation and he definitely didn't like eating it alone. For that reason, I mixed it with his wet food and that worked. It's very thick so it's hard to scrape off the spoon. On the bright side, it doesn't have a strong odor seeing its from fish oil. My cat also didn't mind the flavor. I guess it's a 50/50 for me.

I have a long hair ragdoll that started pooping outside the litter box. I noticed his poop went from hard to very soft. Fast forward to him having explosive diaherria all over my floor and me clueing in that the problem wasn't him rejecting a less than perfectly clean litter box. A vet friend advised me that he was likely constipated from excessive summer grooming to cool down (he was also throwing up huge hairballs). Cat Lax works. Within three days of giving one dose a day, he was using the litter box normally again and had barfed zero hairballs. The taste appears to be tolerable but he will only eat it if I press it inbetween his front paw's toes. Then he grooms it away instantly with minimal fuss. The product is purple, smells like dates and feels like dates if they were made into paste. My advice is to put it on your cat's fron toes (really get it in there) and unleash the cat onto a non-fabric surface so you avoid purple paw prints on furniture or carpet. The picture is of my cat feeling much better after a few weeks of poop disasters. Excuse his paw, he is embarrassed.

My poor sicky cat was constipated and this was recommended to me. She refused to consume it. When I put it on her paw, instead of licking it off, she folded her paw under her body and smooshed it on some fabric. Then I put it on the tip of her tail, which I assumed would be annoying enough to warrant licking off but nope. Keep in mind, this product is basically oil. I woke up to oil stains on my newly upholstered chairs so it was a fail.

長毛の猫ちゃんなので毛玉の排泄のために舐めさせています。あまり好きではないみたいなのですが体調のために…毛玉が出てくれているので良い商品だと思います。
