Definitely worth it for single serve users
There is one flaw to this machine that I've discovered the hard way, multiple times. It does NOT move around well with the water reservoir attached. The slightest force will knock it directly over which is no big deal if you like to clean up a gallon of water. I don't know why they didn't find even the most rudimentary way to keep the reservoir locked onto the machine. The Ninja Thirsti Max for instance doesn't have this issue, you'd have to actually try to knock the water reservoir loose. Other than that, the power cord is kind of short. But the coffee functionality is great. You can switch between the grounds adapter with the built in cleanable filter, or the pod adapter which supports any of your Keurig K-Cup style pods. It brews single cups up to 12 oz very quickly, it has a built in milk frother, comes with a spoon with measurements marked off to know how much ground coffee to use, and it has an effective self cleaning function. I haven't used my normal coffee machine that has a carafe a single time since I got this machine. Yea, you go through one k-cup per beverage, but that's fine. The coffee tastes good and it handles stuff like latte k-cups well too.

Great Little Machine
I bought the XL version about one month ago to replace a Keurig, which was the only I had used. I LOVE this coffee maker. I have not had any problems with the Ninja at all. The attached frother is a nice touch as is the rich roast option and the speciality coffee options. I’ll address the few negative reviews that I have read. The K Cups do not explode if you push them down until you hear a click. I’m not saying that it did not happen to some people, but if you push it down all the way it would resolve the issue. I also don’t have an issue with the water temperature, I find the water temperature to be the same as the Keurig. Its sleek design is also nice as it does not take up a lot of counter space. The variety of colors the Ninja Coffee maker is offered in, is also a plus as you can match it to your kitchen color scheme. It’s easy to operate and gives you many options to brew your coffee your way. I noticed that it is also currently on sale. If you have been unsure of whether to purchase a machine other than Keurig , I would highly recommend that you purchase this Ninja Coffee Maker. I purchased the XL for the extra water capacity . Again, even the Xl has a sleek design and does not take up much counter space. It also stores the coffee ground holder in a compartment in the coffee maker, as well as a coffee scoop. This machine does have the option to use a k cup or ground coffee

Makes great coffee and super easy
Really great value for the money. The coffee tastes fresh and strong, and it brews fast which is perfect for busy mornings. I like that you can use both pods and grounds. The water reservoir is a good size so you’re not constantly refilling. Easy to use, easy to clean, and makes consistently good coffee.

Better engineering and better taste than Kurig.
This is a well engineered machine. It has storage for its accessories, is very compact, and actually makes coffee at closer to the proper temperature. I measured about 180 degrees whereas my Kurig was 155. This definitely makes for better quality and smoother tasting coffee. This machine does make better coffee than a Kurig machine. However, it Does Not make true espresso or cappuccino. You can come close by using the 4oz feature and the frother works fine, but just don’t expect true espresso shots. Nonetheless, it’s a good compromise. Get the same convenience as a Kurig, but with better tasting coffee approaching coffee shop quality. The regular drip basket (non pod) is a copper filter, so it will not add a metallic taste. It will make up to 24 oz of coffee which is really just two large mugs worth, but it is capable of very strong brew. If you are concerned about microplastics produced by the heat on plastic pods as we are, then use the metal pods available on Amazon with your own brand of coffee and grind your own for the best results.

DO NOT BUY THIS COFFEE POT...THEY ARE LITERALLY DANGEROUS
I have owned TWO of this exact coffee maker. The first one lasted 15 months and literally blew coffee ground from the pod out the top and all over my tile wall and up into the under cabinet lights in my kitchen last week. My son was standing there and hot coffee grounds blew onto his arms and face hot enough we had to get burn cream. So...I bought a new one, same pot, thinking it was a malfunction that had developed in the one I had purchased 15 months before. WRONG! The new pot lasted for three cups of coffee and I was making coffee with a coffee pod and I saw the top "pop" open and steam came pouring out of the area where the pod fits to make coffee. Ground wet all over the pot internally and down the outside of the pot and onto the kitchen counter. I feel blessed that I was not burned. The pods I have been using are the McDonald's pods; however, I have used other brands. With both pots I had to place a strainer over the top of the cup to keep grounds from getting into the coffee every time I made coffee but I kept the first pot anyway as one could also make regular ground coffee with it. Oh...and I have ensured that the pods were pressed firmly into the crevice for them so that I head the popping sound when the hole was punched into the bottom of the pod so I know it wasn't that the pod was incorrectly installed. These coffee pots are DANGEROUS. I wish it were different as I liked the features but not enough to ever purchase another Ninja coffee pot of any kind.

Me llegó con la caja como si ya fuera usado, no sirve el modo pods, marca error, aun cuando hice lo que dice el manual, calienta el agua, hace ruido extraño y me quemó

I use it with the coffee grounds - it brews nice rich saturated coffee. In my opinion much tastier than any k-pod coffee maker of a comparable compact size. The stone color looks pretty too.
