They need a prize for this design.
There aren't many products that I constantly promote to people I meet but this is such a good product at such a good price I can't help myself. Anker have outdone themselves with the design of this. Which is crazy to say for a power bank, but they've really put effort into making this one of the best. The loop that acts as a handle, while also being a charging cable, the retractable cable, stored neatly only to come out when needed. The screen, which gives you more information than you could ever need, including warnings about overheating and remaining time for charging. Allowing extra inputs for items that don't use usb-c. This really is one of my favourite products i've ever bought. It's quite a heavy product but lives in my bag and goes everywhere with me. It's not bulky compared to other chargers with similar capacity and i've been using this for almost a year now and it's still going strong even after being dropped a few times.

Excellent 165W Anker Power Bank - Listing Confusion but Product Delivers
I’ve been using this Anker 25,000mAh laptop power bank primarily so far with my Google Pixel 8 Pro, and overall I’m really impressed with both the build quality and versatility. First off, the design is excellent. The built-in retractable cables are a genuinely useful feature with no more rummaging around for leads, and everything feels sturdy and well thought out. In terms of performance, charging my Pixel 8 Pro tops out at around 23W. That’s not the absolute fastest the phone can handle, but it’s still plenty quick in real-world use, more than enough for topping up during the day or giving a solid boost when you’re out and about. One thing worth mentioning (and slightly confusing) was the listing vs order details. I purchased this as part of a bundle with an Anker Bluetooth speaker. The power bank is advertised as 165W, but when I checked my order confirmation and history, it showed as 100W. That said, the unit I received is clearly the 165W version as advertised so no complaints about what actually arrived, just something to be aware of if you’re checking your order details. Battery capacity is excellent, easily enough for multiple phone charges or a mix of devices and it recharges reasonably quickly given its size. Overall, this is a high-quality, feature-packed power bank that’s ideal if you want something capable of charging everything from phones to laptops, with the added convenience of built-in cables. Slight confusion on the listing aside, the product itself delivers exactly what you’d expect from Anker.

Can charge your laptop
Good quality can charge my laptop, phone and earbuds at the same time. If using to charge a single item the charging speed is so fast and having a display is strangely satisfying. Built in wires are really useful having a USB A out would make it perfect. A little heavy to carry if just for a phone but is sturdy and well built, has survived a few drops without too much damage.

Love this power bank!
I bought this power bank to provide power on the go for a Microsoft Surface Pro laptop/tablet. I have to say I'm really impressed and it's probably the best thing I've ever bought! The design is very clever and very well thought out. All ports /integrated leads are dual purpose and are able to provide power to devices as well as allowing the power bank to be charged. The integrated leads are very clever with one being extendable then retracting and capable of being tucked away when you've finished with it. The other is genius as it doubles up as a wriststrap! Charging-wise, as long as you use the usb-c port or the integrated usb-c leads then charging is nice and rapid. I don't find it overly heavy either. I carry mine around in a backpack with my laptop and it's more than manageable. In short then, this power bank suits my purposes perfectly, I am hugely impressed with it and I highly recommend.

Excellent high-capacity power bank – perfect for laptop and phone charging
I bought this Anker laptop power bank as a one-stop solution for charging my devices on the go, and it’s been fantastic. The 25,000mAh capacity is more than enough to top up my laptop and still have plenty left for my phone and other gadgets. It’s brilliant for long days out, travel, or working away from a socket. The triple USB-C ports and high output make a real difference – my laptop charges quickly and reliably, and I can charge my phone at the same time without feeling like I’m compromising on speed. The built-in retractable cables are a great touch too, keeping everything neat and saving me from hunting around for extra leads. Build quality is exactly what I expect from Anker: solid, well finished and reassuringly sturdy. For the amount of power and flexibility it offers, it’s still reasonably compact and easy to carry in a bag. Overall, this is an excellent portable charger if you want something that can genuinely handle a laptop as well as phones and tablets. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

Mighty but weighty
A mighty power block for travel - weighty because of the battery size (is comparable to the Anker 26000mAh one I already have), but that's to be expected. Works well. Charges four things at a time, which is super useful. Easily powerful enough to charge my MacBook - and can cope with that and my phone at the same time. Percentage indicator handy. Most useful thing is the built in cables - I do worry how long the retractable one will work for (it seems well made but you never know with these things), but time will tell. Price seems fair. Gives me full long weekend of charging when off-grid.

Great charging bank.
I don't bother taking a charger when I go away for a few days as this just does the job. Been using for about a year now and always does the job. I like the way the incorporated leads are dual direction, so can power devices or be charged up itself with the same leads. Also avoids the issue of forgetting to pack a cable! I perhaps expected a little more charge capacity than it delivers, as charging up my and my wife's phone last night does drain it somewhat. But it is a good compromise of weight/size over capacity. Would highly recommend. Also very tactile and the charging icon winks at you when you check the capacity remaining :-)

My worries were quickly demolished. Ace battery.
I use a lot of batteries in an off-grid situation, from enormous ones to smaller ones like this. So why is this battery twice the price of its competition? (I don't get paid for reviews and I only review products I think are great) Mainly because of the chips inside and the build quality. The 2 attached usb c cables are great, allowing communication with the attached device as well as rapid current transfer. The battery is able to detect and charge at the maximum safe level automatically. With other batteries, you sometimes have to find the correct cable and hope for the best. 25000mah is enough juice to charge a phone 6-8 times. The retract mechanism for one of the cables seemed like an obvious fail point, but it feels reliable and well-made, with a satisfyingly dampened spring mechanism. Likewise, the second cable forms a carry-strap and this too is a potential problem, but it seems well thought-out and solid. Your money has gone into R&D, engineering and high quality materials to make this an excellent unit. These 2 cable issues do not feel like issues any more now that I have lived with the charger for a couple of weeks. It feels dependable. I have used it for charging vapes, drones, lights, phones, DAPs, boomboxes and radios. Probably because of the superior cables and chips, it seems to do the job a little faster than some of the other batteries I use, and the one I reach for first. In fact, I bought another one. The display is another plus point, giving clear feedback on remaining charge and the wattage being transferred. No more guesswork or straining to see tiny LEDs. You can see if its working from across the room, and when finished, the display turns off. One minor flaw is that it does not always start automatically when you plug something in - you have to press the on button to start charging. Once you know this factoid, it is no longer a problem, though. I have not tested the claimed recharge time thoroughly - it seemed as slow as its competitors, but perhaps I should be using the built-in cables. So, you get what you pay for, and you are getting a premium product here - hassle-free, easy to use and reliable charging. This is a step up. Highly recommended.

An Exceptionally Well-Engineered 25K Power Bank with Truly Useful Innovations
This Anker Power Bank is, without exaggeration, the best power bank I have used to date. It combines thoughtful industrial design, meaningful innovation (not gimmicks), and excellent real-world performance. After a week of use, it is clear this is a very carefully engineered product. *** Design and Build Quality *** The first impression is premium. The casing appears to be a ferromagnetic metal (likely stainless steel) with a solid, reassuring heft. The rounded edges make it comfortable to hold, while the rectangular block shape packs efficiently in a bag. The front panel features a glossy plastic accent with a bright, sharp LED pixel display. It is not only visually appealing but also highly functional. Layout is well thought out: • Recessed power button • 1 × USB-C port • 1 × USB-A port • 2 × built-in USB-C cables *** Built-in Cables – A Standout Feature *** This is where the product truly differentiates itself. One retractable USB-C cable uses a spring-loaded mechanism, extending up to ~65 cm and holding at any intermediate length. The plug docks neatly into a recessed slot and is secured magnetically. The second is a fixed 29 cm USB-C cable, which can be looped into a carrying lanyard using the connector itself to lock into place. These are not gimmicks—they are genuinely useful innovations that eliminate the need to carry extra cables and reduce failure points in a travel setup. *** Clear Labelling and Travel Compliance *** The back of the unit has a large, clearly printed label showing: • 25,000 mAh / 90 Wh • An airplane symbol indicating airline compliance Additional markings on the bottom include full specifications, a CCC certification logo (important for travel in China), and a QR code for verification. This level of transparency is reassuring and avoids ambiguity at airport security. *** Display and Monitoring *** The front display is one of the best I have seen on a power bank. It clearly shows: • Charging power (input/output) • Battery percentage • Time to full charge Additional screens can be accessed via the power button, including a battery temperature readout, which is a particularly useful safety feature. After charging for one hour, I observed a temperature of ~28 °C. The unit also clearly indicates protection states: • High temperature → throttling or shutdown • Low temperature → charging disabled This reflects thoughtful and robust power management design rather than superficial display features. *** Battery Health Monitoring (Cycle Count) *** One particularly impressive and uncommon feature is a dedicated display mode showing battery life in terms of charge cycle count. This provides a transparent indication of long-term battery wear—something rarely exposed to users in power banks. The manufacturer rates the battery for up to 10,000 charge cycles, at which point it is still expected to retain approximately 60% of its original capacity. This represents an exceptionally long service life for a lithium-based power bank and reflects a design that prioritizes longevity as well as performance. *** Charging Performance *** Charging input is via the USB-C port on the side: • Up to ~40 W from my 200W PD charger • Tapers to ~20 W near full charge (expected behaviour) Output performance is excellent: • Rated up to 165 W total output • In my use: o Surface Laptop: sustained ~65 W o Samsung S25 Ultra: ~20 W simultaneously The unit handled multi-device charging without issue. *** Additional Functional Features *** • Pass-through charging Allows the power bank to charge while powering multiple devices • Trickle charging mode Enables charging of low-power devices (e.g., earbuds), addressing a common limitation of many PD power banks *** Real-World Efficiency Consideration *** As with all power banks, usable output energy is somewhat lower than the rated 90 Wh due to conversion losses. In practice, one can expect roughly 70–80% of rated capacity, depending on load and voltage conversion. The unit appears well optimized for moderate loads (30–70 W), which likely contributes to its stable performance and controlled operating temperature in real-world use. *** Portability *** The unit weighs approximately 600 g, which is noticeable in a carry-on, but entirely expected for a battery of this capacity. This simply requires a bit of planning when packing. A velvety carrying pouch is included, which is a thoughtful addition. *** Overall Assessment *** This is not just a high-capacity power bank—it is a well-engineered power system designed with real-world use in mind. What stands out most: • Thoughtful integration of built-in cables • Excellent display and diagnostics • Strong multi-device performance • Clear regulatory compliance for travel *** Final Verdict *** A genuinely innovative, well-designed product that prioritizes usability, safety, and longevity over marketing gimmicks. The clearly labelled 90 Wh capacity and CCC certification also make it particularly suitable for international travel, including regions with stricter inspection standards. I look forward to carrying this on my upcoming overseas trip—it is one of the few pieces of gear that actually simplifies travel rather than complicates it. Highly recommended.
