The parasite is paralyzed and is naturally eliminated by gravity in the environment. Apivar is therefore indicated for the prevention and treatment of Varroa Jacobsoni or Varroa destructor bee varroasis. Use 2 Apivar strips per hive. Separate the double strip and arrange each strip between two moving frames, keeping at least a distance of two frames between the strips. Suspend the treatment of the product in the breeding chamber so that the bees can transfer to both sides of the strip. Leave the strips in the hive for at least 42 days and remove them for disposal.
