Hisense Laser Cinema PL2 Ultra Short Throw Smart Projector

Got a used like new £850 and wow it’s incredible beats any of the budget 4k projectors I had the elfin flip 4k before this and it’s difference is night and day ! Setup is trickier this isn’t auto keystone like some projectors you have to adjust the legs and move it round to get it right but once it’s up and running it’s amazing - recommend a screen as needs fully flat surface most walls aren’t and you’ll get issues you can see there’s a slight wave on mine I need a screen to fix this as my walls a little uneven but even still it’s not noticeable really once you start watching

Item faulty & Amazon won't offer an exchange. Don't want a refund as now £1400 & I still want it. Forced to go through Hisense's & their repairers have gone into liquidation. Very unhappy, awful service.

Set up was pretty easy I have to say. You just need to understand how tha projector projects to the screen and then adjust the position of your projector accordingly. Just a little tiny bit of “rocket science” needed. I’m giving a 4 star because the instructions manual doesn’t tell me how to remove the left and right side of the projected picture that seem to appear slightly curved. Otherwise I’ll give a 5.

Picture quality is outstanding. Set up is a little bit of a pain, but doesn't take too long. We did have a few issues with the auto calibration, but the manual version is very straight forward. Built in sound quality is a little thin, but overall good. App layout is clean and easy to use, quite a lot of children's based apps that I would to be able to remove, but that doesn't seem to be an option unfortunately. Overall incredibly happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I bought this without having a alr screen and although I am very impressed with quality of picture on wall especially when its not sunny as I have a very sunny room, I have ordered a screen unfortunately still waiting for it as it was a long delivery time so can't comment on picture quality on screen yet but am sure it will be amazing. Sound is very good and I'm able to control my fire cube with projector control which is brilliant so only have to use one control. I had been looking at the projector for a long time and I'm glad I purchased it i have only gone for 80inch although I have a big room so I can go bigger in the future if I wish it didn't seem odd going from 49inch to 80inch as its very easy on the eye. Overall very happy so would recommend if you are thinking of getting one.

Great colours, very nice design

Because there is no tof only a camera picture and manual adjustments for the price of this you need it set up by someone who does this. The picture is very good and bright but not easy to setup. Not going to buy a new phone to do this also you need to be 10 feet back which defeats the purpose of the ultra short throw of this projector to take a picture.
