It is an excellent product. I had the same one earlier but it was dropped by me daughter and it broke. So I again went for the same one as my previous experience was really good.

Works very well It is not a premium quality iron according to its weight and steam power but a very decent normal daily use iron It is very good according to its price

I was doubtful before ordering this but after using this product I am quite satisfied. Best part is water leakage do not take place. Its steam works like a charm. Its bit heavy in comparison to regular Irons but i think you wont mind it after seeing how quickly you are able to Iron your clothes. I am using this product since more than 2 months and I am satisfied. In some of the reviews you will find that they found some droplets in the water tank and considering it as a used one when they receive. I would like to bring forward the point that this also happens because of the quality test done at the company itself.

Warranty is on paper only. Product worked very nice till about last month, but after sales service is unprofessional. The service engineer called and said the thermostat needs to be replaced but its not available at the moment and would be replaced within 5 days as the parts have to be ordered. It has been 2 months now i am told it will take another week. The plate and thermostat are the main components of the iron and i am hopeless it is going to get fixed. They have all sorts of reasons but no replacement spares. Why provide warranty then? Update : As expected, its been more than 2 months and the iron is yet to be fixed with assurance given to me by service callcenter on almost daily basis. The iron is only good till is works, after that you are on your own. Buy from brand which is more reliable.

I have been using black and decker iron and car vacuum cleaner for long, hence this was a natural choice. This iron comes with auto-switch off and no drip functionality and both are a boon. The no drip function makes sure that there are no spills when u don’t use the steam function. The auto-switch off helps in case u forgot to switch off while attending to any task while ironing. The iron is quite heavy and help remove the crease and provides a good iron, so u do not need to press hard but just glide. Its not too heavy which would dissuade ironing at home. The non-stick ironing plate ensures that the iron keeps glididng across surfaces without picking up any dirt(as its been only a month, hence cannot vouch for this fact just now)

I was using a X950 Black & Decker iron till now which was accidentally damaged. I was so happy with this iron that I went looking for the same iron but soon realized that this model has probably been discontinued now. This resulted in my selecting and buying this iron. I wish I had not blindly trusted Black and Decker and checked out other options also in the market! Some of the things that irk me are as follows: It makes a sharp beeping sound after 30 seconds if powered on and kept horizontal while adjusting the cloth being ironed. It is a good feature to prevent a fabric burn if unwittingly left on it. However, what the designers of this iron did not account for is that some of us use an iron board with a horizontal metal frame to keep the iron while adjusting the cloth being ironed and this repeated sharp low level beeping can be irritating! Wish there was some way to turn this beeping off. Aesthetics: The shape of the iron is not very attractive when seen from the top but this view was not visible in the images in the listing on Amazon. The grey color is a bit depressing but then there was no other choice to select. The thermostat makes a loud clicking sound when the iron is used just above the steam output indicator on the dial. This is not a good sign from a long term usage perspective. Steam output is low prompting one to unnecessarily check the water level even when it is adequately filled. It would have been nice if the power cable was longer by 1-2 feet. Ironing quality is just OK. I was expecting much better ironing results given it is a 2000W and somewhat heavy iron with a ceramic sole plate. I am writing this with a lot of ironing experience with a number of irons / brands over the years!

I received the product on time which I really appreciate that, the product is heavy and bulky but no complain on that one as it easy to use. The only problem I have is that the warranty card was not provided along with the product.
