Review: Wow! What a difference. - One word. Wow! Since I bought my used 6.0 I noticed that it started really rough in the mornings and would have to warm up to about 150 degrees EOT before it drove smoothly. I literally could feel the truck struggle to get to 40 MPH. Felt like it was misfiring, or something like that. I thought that that was just how diesels work and that I just need to run it for 10-15 minutes before driving. I bought this after doing some research and added two four (4) ounce bottles after the last oil change. The next morning, the truck started right up (purring). It didn't sound like part of the engine was going to fall on my driveway. And, when I went to drive it, it ran like a champ. Diesels do need to warm up, so I will never "drive it like I stole it" when it is cold, but I can, at least, flow with traffic without it feeling like it is struggling. I fully endorse this product. BTW, I use Rotella T6 and have been using Hot Shots. That did help with warm run time, but the RevX actually helped with the cold start and cold running. I am not knocking Hot Shots. I think the product does help, but you have my observations. RevX went a bit further.

**Q: does help cold start rough idle**
A: No it doesn't. That's why I bought rev x was to help with my cold start idle on my 6.0 powerstroke. I had to replace 4 injectors.

**Q: Good for preventative maintenance? Or unnecessary if you have a small car with no problems...**
A: It is perfect for preventive maintenance.  However, for a small car we recommend you use one 4 fl. oz bottle of REV X High Performance Oil Additive.

**Q: How many quarts does one bottle treat?**
A: I'm guessing about 7/8 quarts per bottle... I know I needed two bottles for my 6.0l Powerstroke which takes 15 quarts of oil.

**Q: What is the best rate for rev x? Oz to quart**
A: The exact ratio is 1 fl. oz.  of REV X High Performance Oil Additive to 1.5 qt. of oil.  1 Bottle will treat up to 6 quarts of oil.

Use on both of my diesel trucks and it greatly increases performance. Have used it for several years now and this is a pretty good price for four of them. Used to each on the 6 l diesels every oil change has greatly increased injector performance.
