very nice light

This light is seriously bright. The first time I flipped it on, I half expected to hear a NASA countdown. It lights up every corner of my workspace and makes it a lot easier to see what I’m actually doing instead of just guessing in the shadows. The build feels solid too, and the aluminum housing gives it that “I’m not afraid of oil, dust, or whatever you throw at me” vibe. Installation was pretty straightforward, but just know this one needs to be hardwired—it doesn’t come with a plug. I ended up splicing an extension cord to it so I could plug it into my outlet, and it’s been working perfectly. Once it’s mounted, it stays put and doesn’t flicker or overheat. It’s also surprisingly lightweight for something this tough. If you’ve got a garage, workshop, or CNC setup that could use some serious lighting power, this thing delivers. It’s bright, durable, and makes late-night projects a whole lot easier.

When I purchased this, I wasn’t sure whether I needed it or not. The description was so compelling, and I did have a need for some extra light at my workshop, I went for it. WOW, is all I can say. This light is very substantial in its construction, wiring, casing, and it’s bright! So, I’m not an electrician, but I am handy, so I got a couple of YouTube videos and went into my basement and constructed a small support for the bulb/ light. After that, I bought an electrical connector at Home Depot and I was on my way to creating an amazing lighting experience. I often tie flies for fishing, and put together small buildings for my HO train set. This light, add in my reading glasses, has changed my life.

I installed this light inside my sand blasting cabinet. It provides much more light than I had previously, improving my ability to clean old car parts.

It's completely plastic, which I wasn't expecting to be so thin and flimsy. I am using it inbetween rafters in a ceiling and it's working out, however it would be very easy to over screw it in and break it - care installing it is important. Light quality is very good so that earned it the 3 stars. 2 stars off for the material quality. It also came not packaged very well.

This light has been great in my garage. It functions better than the one i had in here and was very easy to install. Remember this does need to be installed its not a plug in or a battery. It is a hardwired unit. Now of course you could get an outlet plug and splice them together if you wanted. Not sure the safety rating on that though lol. The magnet that holds it up to the shelf in my shop is strong! I don't have any concerns with the magnet strength giving way and falling. However if it did the material is flexible and durable so I know it wouldn't damage it.

First off, I would say this a very good quality, durable light. It is very bright, (i got the 30 watts). The only thing people may have a hard time with is the light has to be hard wired into a line, you CAN NOT just take it out of the box and plug it into an outlet. I spliced an extension cord plug to the light so now I can just plug it in an outlet and use it, (but I do have a lot of experience with electrical work so I knew how to safely do this). I needed a light like this for when I work in my garage at night on my work bench, the garage lights are behind me so there was always a shadow in front of me on my work bench and sometimes I just need bright light on the work bench. This is a very lightweight light so It did not take much to safely hang it under my workbench shelf. I think this is a very good value for the price and would definately recommend this 30 watt led light without hesitation.

This LED WORK lamp gives off a good strong light in the garage. Easy to install and set up - Note though, when you purchase it, it does not come with a plug. I should have read better in the first place, but that is easy to fix because this way you cannot only use a plug, but also just connect it to a lathe, milling machine, and workbench. I love that it is completely sealed, so there is no way dirt or water will ever get in. Being an LED light, you do not have to deal with flickering, and you know it will last a long time. If you need good lighting in your garage, this light will really help and is safe.
