But if you want some dinner and drinks music outside for a couple of hours, it’s great! And Echo responds just like it does when not in this holder, so all functions work as well as they ever do. This device is more like 0.00020W instead of 20W. With the ECHO DOT on volume level 10, it was hardly possible to hear news or music. Both sounded like in a tin can. I was not expecting BOSE quality sound for $30, but, being able to hear the music should be expected for $30. The actual built in speaker on the ECHO DOT was much more powerful than this speaker. Also, the battery is actually 4400maH. I am not sure why it was advertised as 5000maH. Finally, description states that it can charge other devices due to the 5000maH battery. There is no USB charging port, other than the power micro USB port to that connects to the ECHO DOT. There was no way to charge another device unless you unhook the ECHO DOT and use the micro USB that connects to it and use it on another device. Very misleading. Item return is in progress.
