What can I say. It’s the best mouse I have ever bought. This is the 1st apple mouse I h asve ever owned but just upgraded my android computer to a Mac m4 so thought id buy the mouse to go with it. It was pricey as I could have bought a white one for £56.00 but for a black one £80.00, but am more than happy with it. It’s really responsive, light weight and looks quality. Battery life is amazing, only changed it once and its still on 80%. Looks like glass. Really happy with my purchase. 10/10

Good enough mouse, I like the fact that it uses Bluetooth so doesn’t take up one of the slots on the MacBook.

Excellent pre-used product with only noticeable blemishes to the packaging. The device itself is 100% perfect and works entirely as expected. Even had the USB-C charing lead intact and unblemished. 11/10 would recommend esp. as it saves you ££s.

Not impressed at all. Looks nice but not fit for purpose in my opinion. Too flat for comfortable use, edges are very harsh. Scrolling does not work at all. Pointer often jumps around screen and movement is very erratic with my MacBook Air M3. I have a cheap Logitech mouse that came bundled with a wireless keyboard and that works perfectly. Ignore the reviewers that that justify this by saying no mice work well with Macs, that is nonsense. Retuned and bought Keychron instead.

Paired with my MacBook and the Magic Keyboard, the Magic Mouse has been a positive surprise. I keep my MacBook tucked behind a portable monitor when working at my bureau, which creates a great iMac-like setup. With Touch ID on the keyboard, secure access is quick and seamless even when the laptop lid is closed so well worth the extra cost. Setting up the Magic Mouse was effortless: switch it on, and the MacBook immediately detected it, allowing me to customise preferences in seconds. Despite its low profile and sleek glass-like shell, the mouse feels substantial in the hand and delivers smooth, responsive performance. The built-in gesture controls adds value, going beyond a standard mouse and blending beautifully with macOS. Elegant, reliable, and thoughtfully designed, it’s a perfect companion to the Magic Keyboard. As for the much-discussed charging port on the bottom, I see it as a necessary trade-off for the slim design. The battery life is excellent. It came with 86% of the battery and after two weeks of light daily use, mine is still at 83%. Finding a moment to recharge every so often really isn’t an issue.

Great item. As with all Apple products slightly pricey but feels good quality and is easy to set up and use. Battery lasts well and you just plug it in to charge.

I purchased a Magic Mouse 2 and returned it thinking it was faulty as it was not working on my MacBook Air like my old 1st Generation Magic Mouse used to. Received a replacement and experienced the same issue. I have subsequently discovered that the problem was not with the mouse but the fact that the MacOS I am running, Monterey, is not fully compatible with the Magic Mouse 2 (sorry Amazon!!!). I will not return this time as it is not a defective product but will keep it to use on my iPad or until such time as I am able to upgrade to a newer MacBook that runs the latest MacOS. Please check compatibility before purchasing!!!

Besonders erfreulich ist, dass Apple nun endlich auf USB-C setzt, was das Ladekabel-Chaos auf dem Schreibtisch reduziert. Design & Ergonomie Optisch ist die Maus in Weiß unschlagbar schlicht und elegant. Die flache Bauform ist jedoch Geschmackssache. Wer von einer klassischen, hohen ergonomischen Maus kommt, wird eine Eingewöhnungszeit brauchen, da die Hand eher flach aufliegt. Für mobiles Arbeiten mit dem iPad ist sie durch die kompakten Maße aber ideal. Die Multi-Touch Oberfläche (Das Highlight) Hier spielt die Magic Mouse ihre wahre Stärke aus. Das Scrollen (horizontal und vertikal) sowie die Gesten (Wischen zwischen Vollbild-Apps, Mission Control) funktionieren extrem präzise. Es fühlt sich eher wie ein Trackpad in Mausform an. Das ist ein riesiger Vorteil gegenüber herkömmlichen Mäusen beim Arbeiten in macOS. Präzision & Akku Die Bluetooth-Verbindung steht absolut stabil. Die Akkulaufzeit ist hervorragend und hält bei mir mehrere Wochen durch. Kritikpunkt: Der Ladeanschluss Man muss es erwähnen: Auch beim USB-C Modell befindet sich der Ladeanschluss auf der Unterseite. Das bedeutet, dass man die Maus während des Ladevorgangs nicht benutzen kann. Da sie aber sehr schnell lädt (ein paar Minuten reichen für Stunden), ist das im Alltag eher ein kleiner optischer Aufreger als ein echtes funktionales Hindernis. Zusammenfassung Pro: Perfekte Einbindung ins Apple-Ökosystem (Mac & iPad). Geniale Gestensteuerung über die Multi-Touch Oberfläche. Hochwertige Verarbeitung und edles Design. Endlich USB-C statt Lightning. Contra: Laden während der Nutzung weiterhin nicht möglich (Anschluss unten). Sehr flache Ergonomie (nicht für jeden Handtyp geeignet). Fazit: Wer viel mit Gesten unter macOS arbeitet, kommt an der Magic Mouse kaum vorbei. Sie ist ein Spezialist, kein Allrounder. Für intensives Gaming weniger geeignet, für Produktivität im Apple-Kosmos jedoch top.

La Magic Mouse reste une référence en matière d’esthétique et de précision. Le design est minimaliste, la surface Multi-Touch réagit parfaitement aux gestes : défilement, zoom, navigation entre pages… tout est fluide et intuitif.
