Great value when purchasing multiple ones. My son has visual stress and it means he has spare ones for home and school. They are thicker than the previous ones be bought and feel more sturdy. He likes the line on them for following text and keeping his place while reading. But they're also small enough to use on worksheets etc.

Weirdly they work, helped my daughter with her reading.

Perfect size and quality for students to use when reading. Helps them see the text clearer and keep their place. Delivered in a useful wallet. Good variety of colours in the pack.

This is a very useful book with lots of photocopiable scripts for everyday living skills. It teaches in an easy to understand language without jargon making it a very useful tool to anyone working with or caring for a child with communication difficulties.

Bought these to help students who struggle to read black print on white paper. One now missing from my set - given to a student when he left, it saw him through college, and is now kept in his boss' van for when he needs to read instructions. That's a recommendation!!

I have quite a few pupils in each of my classes that find it easier to read using various different colours. These reading rulers are great as they contain all the colours I could possibly need. A little expensive but great for lots of different pupils so good value for money overall.

Ordered these before for my daughter - make a huge difference to her. Unfortunately this batch are a noticeably different colour and don’t help her. I’ve been in email discussion with Crossbow who state “ We work closely with Professor Arnold Wilkins (the leading researcher into Visual Stress) in creating our colours. He states that a change in colour composite of up to Delta 4 is acceptable: Delta 1 – 2 is only just visible to the eye, Delta 4 is visible but within our remit and should not change the reading speed of the individual by a noticeable amount. We do mostly achieve between delta 0.5 and 2 with our colours however some may reach the 4 and as mentioned this shouldn’t affect the use of the overlay.” My daughter disagrees - she can’t use these overlays as they do not help. Fortunately she still has one from the previous order so can manage. Crossbow also suggested I purchase the multi colour pack - but I did that at the beginning and that was how she picked this colour. I don’t really know what to do now as crossbow haven’t responded to my last 2 emails. Photo of original filter on left and latest on right.

Fantastic for anyone who struggles with word or line skipping. I prefer these rulers over the page overlays because it's easier to find my place again (narrows it down to the colored portion of the page!) Great way to make reading easier without having to pay a lot of money! Thank you Crossbow Education! Can even help those without dyslexia.
