Useful and convenient
The Westcott 8ths graph beveled ruler is a great option as a ruler for a variety of reasons. It is made out of thin, lightweight, flexible plastic, it’s marked clearly and the zero at the center helps you center it in any project you work on. The transparency of the ruler helps you see your project while you use the ruler. The only downside is all four corners of the ruler are sharp

Most useful drawing tool
I carry this with me at all times in my sketchbook! It is so incredibly useful for sketching and measuring proportions. I used to measure in the air using my pencil as I was taught in art school and this is so much better and more precise. You can look through it and measure objects against the grid and then use the same grid on your paper. and it’s easy to change sizes this way. The way the grid is broken up it’s easy to make things double or half the size as life or even do a fraction like 3/2 the size of life. Constructing complex scenes is so much easier with a transparent ruler. Incredible tool

Westcott 8ths 12-Inch Beveled Transparent Ruler (B-70)
This is a very flexible ruler and the writing (numbers) are hard to read but it's one awesome ruler! I use it to tear paper for crafting and also for bujo to make straight lines. It's the perfect length and thinness. I gave it 5-stars because I don't really use it as a number measuring tool. I've got other rulers for that. I do use the lines as a guide and it works perfect.

Good ruler for graphic design work, very square
I grab this ruler more often than any other when sketching layouts. It's thin, flexible, perfectly clear and easy to read, plus the extra width (2") and the 1/8" grid make it much easier to keep things on the perpendicular or parallel without a t-square... oh, it's centering too! it is very strait, and very square, and the center line is spot on. I compared it to my Starrett combination square to see how accurate it really is and there is no appreciable deviation. This ruler would be my recommendation for sketching page layouts (apps, web, or print) or any other graphic design work, any pen and paper designing (i.e. interiors, product design), bullet journaling, etc. or really any scenario where one wants a clear, flexible ruler. I would not recommend it for cutting, a knife will tear up the edge in no time.

Good product
This is a nice ruler and it is worth having it as it helps with 90 degree angles but I noticed there are some not so even spots on the edge. A bit of sandpaper work solves the problem but one should not have to do that. Still is a good ruler.

best craft ruler ever
These rulers are the best! I have a variety of sizes. From a 6 inch to 18 inches. I bought this one as a replacement for the one I bought 20 years ago which finally faded to the point that it was harder to use. I also had damaged the edges by using it with an x-acto knife. Don't do that. And my kid had snapped it in half, was back together with packing tape. But when you think about it, 20 years is a long long time for thin bit of plastic. This one is just as nice. I use it for crafts, and sewing, and scrapbooking, and all that stuff. It makes getting right angles and 45 degree angles a snap. I can make a set of parallel lines in no time. I can layout the lines for matt boards in no time. The centering bit on the center line is one of my favorite parts. I hope they still make these when it is time to get a new one in 20 years or so.

Makes life so much easier!
The fact that it is transparent and has clearly marked grid lines makes it so very useful for sewing and drawing/drafting projects. The fact that the width of the lines varies, with the inch and half inch lines being wider, adds to the ease of use. I bought this one to replace an old one, and was pleased to discover that the same ruler was still available after 30 years!

Great 2” ruler
This is a great ruler to have! Love the pink lines on it for it to guide me on my cuts. It does get tricky to “read” if it’s on a printed fabric (like the table cloth on my video” but on solid fabrics it’s easy to “read” (like the pants on my video for example). All in all, I use this quite regularly. It’s great to have and at an awesome price as well
