CubicFun 3D Ship Puzzles for USS Constitution Sailing Boat Models for Adults and Teens Toys, 193 Pieces

I've built Constitution, and the HMS Victory. Both are superb kits. The sails are wonderful and the overall profile is great. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars on everything is the rigging and masts are a bit tricky. While Cubicfun kits don't need glue, it doesn't hurt to give some of the parts that wrap 360 degrees (like the masts) a bit of help with some crazy glue or other epoxy. It also takes a bit of patience until the rigging is on the masts. The masts aren't super stable until both sides of rigging are in place (which makes sense, given the design of sailing ships), but take care in handling it as you install the rigging. It's a great building kit, but, unlike something like Legos, do take care as you put up the sails and masts....it's not until the whole thing is complete that it has structural strength. Like all CubicFun kits, the instructions are clear. The parts are precise and easy to punch out of the sheets.

This was an awesome kit. I built it with my ten-year-old son. He could do a lot by himself, but definitely needed my help with some bits as a few of them were hard to place. A couple of pieces tore a bit, but could still be used. For the price, I think this is a really good kit. Once it was put together, it has held together well being transported to school for a project. It did take a few hours to do. Overall, my son and I had a lot of fun putting it together.

The model is an easy and fun item to assemble. The pieces are clearly marked, and punch out very easy and clean. The instruction booklet is very clear and the diagrams are clear and concise. There are no text instructions, only diagrams I am giving it four stars instead of five because the company needs to come up with a better way of setting the masts to the deck. It is very flimsy to say the least, and is frustrating as you attempt to continue with the build. Aside from the mast issue it is a great beginner model. No tools are necessary however a small thin bladed straight slot screwdriver is VERY helpful punching out the many slots.

This was the perfect gift for a 15 year old who loves to work with his hands. My son has the ability to hyperfocus on the things that fascinate him and I absolutely love to see him in that zone. It can be difficult to buy gifts for him because he's no longer a child who requires toys, and he already has gadgets. I was hesitant to get a paper model at first but I'm so glad I did, I even went out on a limb and bought another model ship that was much bigger than this one. He knew all about the history of both and he wasted no time putting them together. This one took him roughly two days - he stopped long enough to eat and do his chores- but every waking moment was spent on building this monster and he loved every second of it. I warned him to be careful, that sometimes things tear, especially if you're a teenage boy learning to operate bear paws. He loved that the box came with a few extra models as well. Those were neat surprises and I suspect we will be buying from this company again in the near future. Thank you so much!

I think it comes at a good price. I had fun putting it together. But, it is really more cardboard than foam, imho. Also, they say no glue. Not true. When one piece is put in, another will fall out- unless you glued it. Yes, you can display it. But, this is a 25 dollar puzzle. Don’t think, like they say, you will display it at the office. Maybe in the family room on the TV…

I thought this was great to put together. Be cautious though, it is delicate. The pieces will absolutely not cooperate if you try to force them. I had no major issues with assembly, and I thought it came out pretty great for a foam and paper creation. I would recommend this for people who like assembling things, and for kids who have the patience to follow the instructions and be gentle with the pieces. Overall, a nice result, in my opinion. Definitely worth the cost for the enjoyment of putting it together and for the finished product.

I really enjoyed putting this together. The instructions were really good and the end result looks really good considering how inexpensive this is. When I opened the box I thought it seemed really cheap but I was really surprised how nice it looked once it was built. Great way to kill some time!

Es el tercer barco que monto de esta fabricante y es muy entretenido, pero creo que no es apto para niños que lo hagan solo, para mayores y con paciencia.

Cadeau de Noël pour mon père il a déjà fait le petit voilier là j'ai pris plus gros plus de pièces. J'espère que ça ne sera pas trop compliqué. En tout cas la notice explicative est très claire il suffit de suivre les étapes. Envoi rapide.

Ho acquistato questo puzzle come regalo di compleanno. La mia amica appassionata di navi l'ha molto apprezzata. Mi ha riferito che i dettagli sono perfetti e, anche se alcuni pezzi come le vele erano molto delicate, non ha avuto particolari problemi ad eseguire il montaggio. Istruzioni semplici da seguire. L'unica pecca era la scatola, era leggermente curvata a un lato, ma non ha influito sulla qualità del prodotto. Ottimo rapporto qualità / prezzo.
