Review: Started out great but then - Started out great but then......... I washed them. I wore 3 pair of these when I got them and loved them. I have had Under Armour socks in the past and they lasted a long time and were comfortable. So I had 3 pair of these socks that needed washed, the other 3 I had not worn, I washed and dried them and 3 out of the 6 individual socks were coming unraveled, primarily on the heel of the sock. This was very disappointing, as they were very comfortable while wearing them, but I did not want to keep them if they weren't going to last. I expected a lot more from the Under Armour brand, especially with the price you pay for them. I did not wash or dry them with any type of velcro or anything that should have caused this, just normal clothes. Review: Toenails like knives I guess - I have been wearing these socks for years and just now felt compelled to write about them. The construction of the socks changed a couple of years back. Before the change, even though they were comfortable and did a decent job keeping my feet dry on 8-12 mile runs, they stretched out after many uses. When UA changed the construction, I was at first happy about the change because they didn't stretch out. But the socks tend to wear out rather quickly. I say this because my big toenails grow oddly from all the running and even when they are trimmed and filed as short as they can go, some of the socks get a hole in the toe after a month of use. Major issue with these socks are that the heels wear out quickly and they loose there shape. I save the non-hole socks so I alway can create a pair of wearable socks.
