Unipac Reptile Sand

Great sand for our gerbils to bath in, non dusty meaning they won't get respiratory infections from it. Excellent value for money too.

By far the best value for money I have found, however every time i have ordered (and i know several others who have had the same happen every time too) the bag has been split inside the box and some sand has been wasted. It needs a much stronger plastic and protection, especially considering it is 25kg. The sand itself is great, and perfect for hamster sand baths.

Good value substrate

This sand is excellent quality and price. It is really fine which is better for my tortoise when he's digging and playing. I always buy this.

I've purchased this twice. The first time it had been delivered and sand was everywhere. It was delivered in a parcel bag and the sand in a bag. Somehow mine was also covered in insects. The seller offered me a refund. I can't fault the seller, very responsive. Second time it was in a box, but the bag the sand was in was split inside the box and was very tricky re bagging it whilst trying not to loose any. The product itself is fantastic and very good value for money. It just needs a stronger bag or double bag it within the box to avoid loosing much of the sand. I lost around 1kg because of poor packaging. My hamsters love this sand though.

Good quality sand which I use for a hamster sand bath and toilet. A very heavy bag but great value.

So much better costwise than buying the smaller bags of sand for my Syrian hamsters as we use so much of it. The only downside was the bag arrived with a hole in it. Also arrived a few days earlier than expected which was great!

This is a great product which I’ve had in the past, it is great at absorbing gerbil urine smells. I have recently tried to re-order on 2 separate occasions but it’s been lost/damaged in transit by the courier both times.
