World's Smallest Lite Brite

So cute and tiny but useful. Daughter loved it.

Very small and fun little toy. Was a great find and cheap! Uses batteries. Decent light levels. Hard plastics. Paints normal

The only thing I would say is that the paper is thin so you can kind of see the circles that don't have pegs in them. It doesn't have the same glow as the OG lite Brite, but that was from inefficient incandescent bulbs so 🤷 Also it's hard to tell the yellow from green pegs. Still it's worth getting, I got one for my sister too and she loved it!

Just like all of the other World's Smallest, this Lite-Bright set is fully functioning. I was surprised at how many pictures papers came with it. The light pegs store in a neat little drawer on the back and the papers slide into the front of the unit. You get a lot for the money with World's Smallest.

Very cool, but pegs unfortunately don't stay in the holes when you're not using the paper backgrounds and the drawer in the back of the unit doesn't actually fit all the pegs (or even half)! Having to keep all the little bits (including the background papers and the pegs that don't fit in the drawer) together with the unit in a little plastic bag (especially because any pegs left in the board will fall out at any unsettling of the unit) sort of ruins the charming quality of a miniaturized version of a regular-sized favorite.

I love it. I didn't expect it to be as perfect as the one I grew up with, yet it totally is! Except no impossibly short cord and it doesn't turn into an EZ Bake oven if it's left on for more than 5 minutes 🤣 There are four lights and this causes there to be a little variance in light depending on where you put the pegs, but it's bright bright bright and very enjoyable! It's about the size of an apple. It comes with several pre-printed patterns and several blank sheets of black construction paper to draw your own on. The pegs fit in snugly so they don't all fall out everywhere if you move it. I tried flipping it upside-down and shaking it, and nothing moved. The only thing I would have included would be a small container to hold the pegs, because they are SMALL. They give you a lot because they're the size of tic-tacs and you are going to lose some. The container in my photo is a tiny bead jar that turned out to be perfect, as it has a tight lid.

So cute and it works well! Just like I remember from my childhood except tinier!
