Do not attempt to mix this full tub by hand, I seriously doubt it's possible. My lad tried, he's a big strong lad and there was no way he could get it all mixed with a trowel. You need a drill with a mixing attachment, or even some thick rubber gloves that cover your arms so you can get your hands right in there (do not do that without protection). Otherwise, get a bucket and mix a little at a time. Don't forget you need a mask and eye protection, as soon as we opened the tub there was a cloud of it. We managed to mix the top half of the tub, then there was an unusable layer and still some powder at the bottom, a waste but it was user error. The product itself is great, but it should come with better instructions for those who are inexperienced.
