You simply fold them—badly, if you’re in a rush, or impressively, if you’ve had five minutes and a sudden surge of self-respect—and place them in your jacket pocket where they immediately elevate the entire outfit. There is also something faintly ceremonial about them. Choosing a pocket square feels less like getting dressed and more like selecting a flag before heading into diplomatic negotiations with the day ahead. Subtle, but intentional. If there is a flaw, it is purely psychological: once you start wearing them, plain jackets begin to feel suspiciously unfinished, like something important has been forgotten, even when it hasn’t. In summary, pocket squares are a small detail with an outsized impact. They don’t shout, they don’t dominate, but they quietly insist that effort has been made—even if everything else that morning was held together by caffeine and optimism. Proof that sometimes the smallest square in the room has the biggest personality.
