Excellent crimper, I have put up with a substandard generic Chinese crimper for many years and have had to reshape each connector with needle nose pliers to get them to fit in the plastic housings. These crimpers do the job easily and efficiently and they're not even expensive. Well engineered, a pleasure.

I've become a big fan of these SOMELINE kits. I've purchased a few of them now. They are really well stocked for covering a heap of connections. All of my DIY electronics projects now look and feel much more professional, and they are also easier to deconstruct and shift components around and so on. For instance, in a recent project, I was running a USB cable into a boost converter and then to a switch in order to power a PC fan. Instead of having my cables all soldered together, which would make it annoying to disassemble, I have all the parts on 2-pin connectors, and each component can be swapped out with ease. Really helps to make parts more easily renewable and to help me replace things like the switch or the boost converter if I blow them somehow.Anyways, the kit comes with loads of connectors of all kinds and really great instructions and info sheets. The crimpers themselves are very easy to use, and once you've crimped a few things, you can easily get into a groove, so you can begin crimping wired quickly and effortlessly in any project.
