Fortunately, THESE S-hooks from MIKRUI are a full 6mm thick, and the mounting plate with four hardware holes is a substantial 0.08 inches thick. When you lift the hook and place a rake or broom in between the plate and hook, the camber mechanism securely holds your tool with just gravity. There is a tiny curve at the end of the s-hook to serve as a safety catch. It’s pretty ingenious, really, and very effective. These hooks come individually packaged, and each hook’s screws and anchors are in separate bags, all packed in a perfectly-sized box. This is important if you intend to store the hooks for a while, as it keeps everything neat and tidy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seem Strong but too slippery

I was hoping for a hook that would grip the straight handle or shaft of a tool like a shovel, broom, rake, or pole pruning shears with enough friction to hold the tool off the ground, but the first tool I tried to use it with, a relatively lightweight pole light bulb changer, and the pole kept slipping through the hook until it reached the floor. To be fair, the pole of this tool has a very smooth metal surface, but so do many other tools I would like to hang on it that are much heavier. If you don't mind the tools standing on the ground with the hook used to keep them from falling over or maybe if you want to store tools like a shovel or broom upside down such that the business end of the tool will rest on the hook and keep the handle off the ground, then these hooks do seem good for that and are very sturdy otherwise.
