I figured it didnt matter how long cheap discs lasted because if I could afford to replace them 5x as often anyway. These Cubitrons really do just peform better though. They remove material much quicker and more aggressively than the stated grit suggests and yet somehow they still finish as expected if not higher (e.g. The 80 grit cuts like a 40, but finishes like an 80+). This means you can sand with less stages AND each stage is significantly quicker, which saves a ton of time and effort. They last much longer than cheaper paper, although I'm not convinced that they last 6 - 8x longer (or whatever 3m claim), but they peform so significantly better, that the exact number doesnt really matter and I won't be going back to my old cheap paper ways.
