I hated to go to bed at night because knew I would be miserable.I toss and turn all night and my husbands gets super early, and I just wake up with him making me exhausted all day long. I saw ad for sleep earbuds and purchased and returned several pairs from Amazon. I was sleeping in my apple ear pods trying to block out any noise I could but of course that wasn’t working either, they were so uncomfortable for side sleepers. I then reluctantly bought the Ozlo sleep buds and was very taken back by the price. I actually got $50 off.($299) because of a promotion. I figured I would return these as soon as I got them if they were uncomfortable like the previous pairs I purchased. It took me about three nights to get the fit in my ear, and to get them paired and to get them disconnected from the Bluetooth. Some of the annoying things that were happening just takes some patience on how to use them. I did connect with Customer Service and I did not appreciate the long list of things they tried to get me to do with a brand new pair of sleep earbuds that were connected to Bluetooth and up-to-date. However, I will say that for the first time in years, I am now sleeping soundly and not waking up to any noises. I set my alarm now because I have to, or I will sleep right through ‘till 7:30 AM! I am a side sleeper, and every once in a while, I get a tiny bit of discomfort, but most of the time with the sound blocking noises I sleep soundly. I wake up refreshed and in no pain. It has been a relief. I am fearful that they will break and I will be back to square one but so far so good! I will recommend that you are ready to go to sleep at night open the app on your phone, open your Ozlo case, connect the earbuds to your ears close the case go to sleep! In the morning open the app Connect the earbuds back into the Ozlo case make sure they are connected correctly,(the app shows you that they are connected correctly) and shut the case. The Bluetooth will then turn off if you don’t do the steps correctly, it will cause them to not work correctly. This took me three days to figure out sorry :-) but when I do these steps, everything is so nice. I go to sleep, listening to an audiobook, when I fall asleep, the earbuds go to sleep masking sounds automatically, my audiobook, pauses, and I am in a deep sleep until morning for the first time in years! This is a sincere true review, and I am still mad about the price, but I’m grateful for the small size of this noise blocking sleep earbud that actually works. ### ⭐ UPDATE: I have SO MUCH to say about these *by on Reviewed in the United States December 14, 2024* After two years and two pairs of Ozlo earbuds, I have finally escaped what I can only describe as an emotionally abusive relationship with technology.I originally bought a pair for myself and another for my fiancé. Then one of my earbuds fell into the toilet during a middle-of-the-night bathroom trip (a loss insurance apparently considers a personal problem), so I commandeered his.Over those two years, Reddit and ChatGPT became my closest allies in the war against Ozlo. I’ve spent so much time troubleshooting these things that I’ve literally had to go on walks to calm down. I once found a secret Ozlo hard-reset webpage after exhausting approximately 30 other solutions. I’ve used it so often that I HAVE IT BOOKMARKED.And connectivity was just the beginning. There were also the little indignities I didn’t even realize I could live without:* The nightly treasure hunt: White earbuds. White bedding. Every morning, a search-and-rescue operation.* The escape artists: Not a single night without one falling out, despite trying every ear tip size.* The charging roulette: Carefully place buds in case. Clean contacts. Double-check placement. Wake up to a dead earbud anyway.* The troubleshooting circus: Smack the case really hard (an art I never mastered). Go downstairs, retrieve a sewing needle, and attempt to press a button apparently designed for ants. Neither ever worked.* The setup experience: An hour of my life I’ll never get back. And I got to do it THREE TIMES.My final connectivity battle involved swapping cases between my two pairs after deducing the earbuds themselves weren’t the problem. It worked! I was a genius! I had beaten the system!Until the next night.By then, I’d ordered Soundcore sleep earbuds out of desperation. It took ONE NIGHT with a different brand to realize how much nonsense I’d normalized.Setup? Three minutes.Earbuds falling out? Nope.Finding a missing bud? They’re PURPLE. And if I somehow lose one, I can MAKE IT BEEP. Revolutionary stuff.Connectivity? Nearly flawless. The occasional audio hiccup lasts less than a second instead of requiring a Reddit investigation and an emotional support walk.Battery life? Just as good.Sound quality? Better.Noise cancellation? Adjustable by TAPPING MY EARBUDS. And if I don’t want accidental taps changing things while I sleep, I can turn that off in the app.Speaking of the app, it does everything Ozlo’s does AND MORE.And I paid ALMOST HALF THE PRICE?!?I was so impressed after the first night that I threw away the packaging. There would be no return.I cannot get those two years back. I can, apparently, write an unnecessarily long Amazon review about them.If you’re considering Ozlo because of the relentless advertising, please know that there’s a whole world of sleep earbuds out there that don’t require an advanced degree in troubleshooting, a sewing needle, and a therapist.Maybe the newer Ozlos are better. Personally, I’ve lost the will to find out.Ozlo, get better. I’m sleeping with someone else now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love em *by on Reviewed in the United States February 22, 2026* As a former user of the Bose Sleepbuds, I’m happy that Ozlo carried on the torch. They are very comfortable and perfect for side sleepers. I have not had any issues thus far.The set up was a bit time consuming due to required updates. The buds connected to my phone without any issues. After a few nights, I noticed the right bud’s battery level would be about 5-10% lower than the left bud. I ended up turning the sleep tracker function off, and that took care of it. Maybe the right bud is used more for sleep tracking data, not sure. I use my watch for sleep tracking, so I don’t need the Ozlo’s to do it. The results seemed pretty accurate though. And the buds do last all night for me. 8-9 hours or so. I don’t use them for streaming any audio. The masking sounds that Ozlo uses are great. There are plenty to choose from. However, most of the sounds needed updates. That’s about 2-3 minutes for each sound to update. The buds themselves, can’t hold the entire library of sounds, so you may need to swap sounds to your liking. Again, this is a 2-3 minute process per sound. Not a deal breaker for me. I’m just glad they have plenty to choose from.A lot of the negative reviews I read were complaints about sound quality. Keep in mind these are made for sleeping and noise masking, not jamming out or head banging to your favorite tunes. As I mentioned earlier, I haven’t used them to stream any audio other than the masking sounds, so I can’t comment on the audio quality. I use proper earbuds for listening to music and streaming. To sum it up, I’d recommend these for better sleep. I’ve been using this style of sleep buds for many years now, and my sleep has improved a lot. Hope this helps. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ozlo Sleepbuds® | Comfortable Side Sleeper Headphones | Up to 10 Hours of Bluetooth LE Streaming | Science-Backed Sleep Sounds | Snore Blocking Comfortable Earbuds - Manta Sleep Mask - 100% Light Blocking, Adjustable Sleeping Mask with Detachable Eye Cups, Ultra Comfortable for Women & Men, Zero Pressure on Lashes, Perfect for Travel/Shift Work --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/666182260-ozlo-sleepbuds-comfortable-side-sleeper-headphones-up-to-10-hours](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/666182260-ozlo-sleepbuds-comfortable-side-sleeper-headphones-up-to-10-hours) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
