We gave the iconic Hurricane XLT a fresh comfort upgrade, outfitting it with soft heel-strap padding and a new, modern sole featuring even better traction than ever before. Finished with Unifi recycled polyester straps.

Review: Great first impression! Feels sturdy, comfy - I need to preface this by saying I haven't had them long at all so this is more of a first impression. I'm going on a long cruise soon and wanted an all in one type of shoe, something that I can get wet, walk a lot in, possibly hike etc. These are a bit chunky but I actually think they look decently cute on my feet. I also bought the originals and I'll be sending those back. I like that this sandal has the back strap with extra padding and is adjustible (the original teva sport lacks these), I also find the sole more comfy and I feel safer and more stable in these hurricanes. I feel like I could run! I'm going to put some mileage on them and report back. So far I'm happy with fit and comfort.
Review: sturdy sandals that are attractive - I will no longer wear flipflops due to breaking bones, so needed something with back strap and sole that wouldn't slip. These are awesome. Have a strap around ankle that is velcro as well as over top of foot. don't need to do each, but its available. I have walked 4 miles in them at a time without any foot pain or blisters. I think they look nice too!

Bought these in plain black for a summer vacation in France and I didn't experience any problems with brand new untested and un-broken-in sandals. They are very adjustable so you can loosen them for socks or for more comfort or tighten them for scrambling on rough ground. Super versatile for the patio, beach or a walk in the wilderness. You can wade in water with them and they quickly dry out. Color didn't fade at all.
