**Q: I want to connect this to my mobile phone via a 3.5mm jack and yhen dangle it in my jacuzzi so i can hear whilst my head is submerged**
A: The speaker requires an amplifier to operate. You can then connect your device via the jack. 

The speaker only needs around 20w of power so only needs a small amplifier.
