Well made and easy to use

Extremely helpful..good lighting..helped my father n partner due to lack of eye sight...super for all kinds of close up work..

Very good for a Fresnel Lens (and lighter) but the neck attachment could have been enhanced by clip attachments - trying to tie the string both ends - then having to remove them each time you want to use the magnifier on other ways is a nuisance - and aekward if you have poor dexterity. I bought some clip attachments myself and have rectified this, but if they (right size!) had been included fitted to the string (even if slight extra cost) would improve the product overal. Just saying........! Othwise you'd have had *****! The magnifier itself is excellent! The legs match the focal point of the Fresnel (ovbiously) but havng used Fresnels before I hadn't realised whow critial the focal length was! For the price it is well made and sturdy, and the option of batteries or USB cable means periods of long use at the desk needn't mean battery waste!

Bought this for my father in law as his eyes have macular degeneration he absolutely loves it and can now read a paper or magazine

It was ok, but using it to read a book was not very good as the sides were distorted. Disappointed.

Bought as a gift for my mum who is partially sighted. It's easy to use, lightweight and very functional.

This was total hrubbish . The unit itself worke alright but it was clearly second hand for the lighting system was broken and the unit was designed for two batteries in parallel, but one battery contaier was broken. I should have retuned it but just didn't get round to it.
