Good item but not really heavy duty

This bird feeder is very well made. The little birds soon got the hang of it. They don't go inside the outer cage, but grip on and lean in to take the seed out of the ports. I bought this to stop the pigeons from hanging on and pecking at the seed - which they do on our other normal feeder - so job done! Well worth the money!

Really excellent product and value for money

It’s a nice feeder, arrived promptly. I filled it with peanuts and sunflower hearts. It was attracting a few small birds but unfortunately it was not a match for my garden squirrels. They chewed through the plastic! I do have very determined squirrels here. I have repurposed it into a fat ball holder so all good.

This feeder does actually work to keep large birds away thus allowing the smaller garden birds to eat. I live 1/2mile away from coast & 1/2mile from woodland , so high tide means Gulls, Pigeons, Crows & Jackdaws invade garden feeders. Since hanging this feeder close to my fence and tucked inside hedge there's no room for a large wingspan & the cage protects large heads from food. The robin, wren & tits are now back eating & larger birds await for whats ever on the lawn.

Squirrel proof my backside! Bought 2 and they’re both wrecked!

I have previously bought this type and it’s great for keeping squirrels out. Unfortunately, it started to rust at the base of the seed tube, but it was in the LakeDistrict after two years
