Review: Awesome Datalogger - I bought this Data logger to log temps for Freezers, Ambient Car Temp (in the summer) and various other applications. This unit was bought used and but was in brand new condition (it appeared it had never been used) - very happy with this transaction and product. Only drawback I saw was when you download the data, it quits logging new data. You have to reset the logger (and clear its previous logs) before starting a new log. You can't "spot check" the temp and then return it to keep collecting data... other than that, its an awesome product.

Every 2 months, I pull it out of the safe, plug it into my Windows (Vista 64) computer & download the data. Once I have saved the data, I run the setup which ensures the settings are the same, unplug it, press the button on the side, put the clear cap back on, & put it back into my safe.. I have been doing this since I bought it & it always provide good data. It does exactly what I bought it to do so I am 100% satisfied.

I bought this Data logger to log temps for Freezers, Ambient Car Temp (in the summer) and various other applications. Its very easy to use, Windows Interface works without complication for downloading and graphing Temp, Dew Point, Humidity. Software only works in Windows, but will work under VMWare Fusion (or Bootcamp / Parallels). This unit was bought used and but was in brand new condition (it appeared it had never been used) - very happy with this transaction and product. Only drawback I saw was when you download the data, it quits logging new data. You have to reset the logger (and clear its previous logs) before starting a new log. You can't "spot check" the temp and then return it to keep collecting data... other than that, its an awesome product.

I bought this in April 2013 to track temperature & humidity in my safe. Every 2 months, I pull it out of the safe, plug it into my Windows (Vista 64) computer & download the data. Once I have saved the data, I run the setup which ensures the settings are the same, unplug it, press the button on the side, put the clear cap back on, & put it back into my safe.. I have been doing this since I bought it & it always provide good data. It does exactly what I bought it to do so I am 100% satisfied.

Great item, works well in a remote location as a data logger. I use mine in the crawl space to capture humidity readings to decide if I need or want to invest in a de-humidifer for a crawl space. The crawl space de-humidifer's can run a grand or so. So this device is a great device with minimal investment before committing to a larger investment.
