Seems like a fine edition of the SummerCart64, I was able to set it up fine according to the documentation and it works great with my Analogue3D so far

I'm building a retro gaming set up around this Toshiba CRT TV. Already modded my PlayStation with XStation, and was introduced to the idea of using a flash cart to do the same thing for N64. The Summer Cart 64 is the best option due to being half the price of the Everdrive 64, while also being open-source to modders and homebrew developers, which is really nifty. The cart comes with a USB dongle and an 8gb micro SD card with the firmware already flashed on it but no games. 8GB is more than enough for a huge library of ROMS, but if flashing with another SD card it needs to be done in the manner shown in the picture with the firmware and menu on the root, and the roms in a separate folder. I had some issues downloading the firmware from the Kaico website (I've had similar issues with other Kaico products) but the best way to obtain any summer cart 64 files is from the summer cart github page. It's great that Kaico are making the ODM cart available on Amazon, although it would be nice to have more options in term of cart colours/translucent plastics, different labels to match an aesthetic. I like the vanilla N64 look though!

Bought this to use with the Analogue 3D, which it is fully compatible out of the box. This SummerCart variant is fairly well built, the MicroSD card slot is a bit awkward to retrieve the card from but one will likely do this seldomly. Otherwise the build quality is solid. The SummerCart itself is widely compatible, tried it in a stock PAL Nintendo 64 and was able to play NTSC games without any special conditions (aside from a NTSC compatible TV) and SummerCart supports Nintendo 64 DD games which is a nice bonus that many premium flash carts do not support. Make sure you update the menu firmware, the menu that ships on the SD card is pretty dated and newer versions are fully compatible with this SummerCart model. Overall, pretty good option if you're looking for a convenient means to access a wide variety of games from other regions.

Works great with original hardware and Analogue 3D. Menu system is a simple list, so you're getting no fancy front end like experience with box art and such like, and that should be expected. The only gripe I have, and this is a super minor one, the SD card is a bit of a pain to remove, once released hard to prise out, best solution I've come up with is allowing the spring release to shoot it out on to a surface, by rapidly releasing and getting digits out the way pronto. Also came with a simple Micro SD to USB card reader. For anyone not familiar with flash carts, and law in the UK, you will have to be supplying your own game ROMs.

Works great straight out of the box. It comes with a SanDisk 32GB micro SD onto which I've added the full set of ROMs with no issues so far. The QR code on the packaging is supposed to take you to a manual but it's not on the site it links to as far as I can see. No matter, SummerCart 64 is open source and all documentation is on the project Github or you can just look up a Youtube video to see more about the cartridge's features and how to use it.

Excellent but no SD card

Works perfectly with the Analogue 3D, does not come preloaded. Build quality is excellent, looks just like an OG cart. Only issue for me is the micro SD card is very hard to get out, I had to use a kitchen knife to remove it.

You need to research how to update firmware and places to get games. Bit once that's done it's great. Great for backups and home made games

Also ich muss sagen, die SummerCart64 ist ein absolutes Non-Plus-Ultra für jeden N64-Besitzer. Da mein PC schon etwas älter ist und einige neue Programme auf dem nicht mehr gut laufen, wollte ich einen anderen Weg finden Zelda- und Mariohacks spielen zu können. Den Aufwand, den man betreiben muss, ist es für das Ergebnis absolut Wert! Man kann problemlos alle N64 PAL/US/JAP Spiele auf richtiger Hardware spielen, Hacks funktionieren hervorragend und das System ist super einfach zu bedienen. Ebenso kann man die Nintendo64 Disc Drive spiele und die damaligen Arcade-Automaten Spiele mit der N64 Engine spielen. Anfangs hat es im Menü der Cartridge ein wenig geflackert, aber mit einem HDMI-Adapter (Auch von Kaico für 25€) hat sich das Problem komplett gelöst. Sie wurde mir mit einer 32GB Speicherkarte und einem SD-Karten-Adapter, um ROMs auf die SD-Karte zu machen, geliefert. Ich habe lieber einen eigenen SD-Adapter verwendet, weil ich den dazugehörigen nicht so gut fand. Ebenso habe ich das Problem mit der SD-Karte, dass ich sie normal nicht rausbekommen aus der Cardridge. Ich muss mir dann leider einen kleinen Schlitzschreibendreher schnappen, damit ich die SD-Karte rausgezogen bekomme, da sie in der Einrastfunktion etwas zu stark hängen bleibt, nachdem man einmal raufgedrückt hat, um sie aus der Rastung zu kriegen. Man muss die SD-Karte aber zum Glück nicht all zu oft entfernen, wenn man alle Spiele, die man haben möchte, einmal raufgepackt hat. Alles in Allem eine absolute Perfektion einer Flashcard!!

El cartucho funciona muy bien, solo hay que actualizar el software del propio cartucho pero vale la pena, corre tanto backups normales y mods como shotgun mario y banjoo and kazooie nostalgic 64! Un pequeño detalle a tomar en cuenta es que varios mods no te funcionan a menos de que tengas la expansión pack

El producto llegó un día antes del previsto, bien empaquetado y en óptimas condiciones, la garantía a través del qr se gestionó sin problemas. Lo único que me gustaría agregar es el el usb que viene para usar la microSD no me funcionaba en el pc asi que tuve que usar otro adaptador de microSD que tenía por casa. Por otra parte la página de GitHub donde están los archivos necesarios para el cartucho está un poco desordenada en el sentido de que en dicha página no está bien seccionada y se mezclan varios tipos de flashcarts por lo que buscar los archivos específicos para el summercart64 puede ser un poco confuso. Quitando eso funciona perfectamente, ya probe tanto juegos de N64 como N64DD y al ser open source de código abierto da a la posibilidad de que se siga mejorando en el futuro, muy recomendable.
