AC is perfect
Runs perfect, others who have complained may not know that you can turn off the ECO MODE in order for the AC to keep running when it reaches 62 degrees in the room. It cools my room down completely, and very happy to have a remote with it as well.

Wonderfully surprised!
Have to say, I wasn’t sure these would be enough to cool my whole place, but they’re doing so well! I purposefully waited a couple of months to make sure they held up a little, and this summer has just been a breeze thanks to this unit. So, my apartment is about 700sq ft and I ordered two of the 6,000 BTU units. One is in the bedroom and the other is in my office. The set up was simple enough and I did end up buying a separate piece of foam to cut out and add extra cushion above them both to really try and keep things sealed well. My apartment has maintained itself at around 75-76° in the warmer rooms if I set both units to 72°, which is absolutely pleasant for me. You could always set them a little lower to bring down the overall temperature if you’re cooling a whole floor like I am. I’ve also tried out just using the fan functions when it’s cooler out and I can open up the windows, and that’s also great. I don’t personally think these are overly noisy, but I suppose that’s going to depend on what you’re looking for. I can have the one in my office running just a couple of feet away from my computer while I’m in meetings and there’s no issue with the sound picking up on my end. The remotes make things convenient as well, and eco mode is nice from time to time if things aren’t blistering hot out. I had them both running basically non-stop in July and my total electric bill for the apartment was only $150, so I can’t complain at all about their efficiency, either. I’m really just super surprised in the best way. I’d definitely buy from this brand again.

Quiet and cool
Quiet. Love the eco mode feature where fan and compressor shut off at desired temperature. Really cools well.

It Works & It Cools !
Not Bad, It works ! Likes - Sleek design It works Dislikes - Confusing Modes (Different Models same modes) which appear in this model, but are not functional (*Dehumidifier ?) Noise - A little loud n change clunky (cooling temp reached, to fan or off) Constant temp tinkering - (to be comfy) Needs proper tilt angle - (to drain outdoors) Internal filter & Mech sys setup - (not bug proof) Window Expansion fins - (Clunky & not very flexible or fiting)

Works great, really cools, great prices.
We bought this air conditioner for our bedroom. It works really well for a 6000 BTU AC. It definitely gets cold in there in the hot summer days. Definitely a good purchase.

Doesn't get very cold
My 5-year old 6000 BTU unit would cool down the 150 SqFt bedroom to 60 degrees in an hour. This unit can run all night and not get below 68. The louvers only adjust side to side. The air blows almost downward.

Functional and easy to install
Came and was relatively easy to install in a NYC brownstone. We have a window ledge outside so the AC rests on that and we didn’t need to install a rack. The unit also comes with the accordion frame. So far doing a good job at cooling down our medium sized bedroom, remote controller also works. Not super quiet but we don’t mind and it fades into brown noise.

Disappointed
I was disappointed in this AC. The previous 6,000 BTU model (pictured) MAW06R1BWT worked sooo much better. This one doesn’t blow nearly as cold enough and is also louder. It doesn’t rattle so the noise is tolerable but overall the cooling quality is a bummer. I’ve had it down to 62 and my apartment is still fairly warm. The previous older AC unit (pictured) cooled my entire basement apartment. This one only cools the room it’s installed in and not even as well as I’d like. Water does NOT drain on either of these AC units on its own, even when properly installed, so you have to use the “gauze trick” which works fine if you don’t mind swapping out often (pictured) or void the warranty and drill a hole (which I finally gave up and did with the old one). But once I did that the old unit was great! I wanted a second one but it wasn’t avail so I got this one. The exterior of this newer unit also runs a lot hotter than normal and I was concerned of its longevity. Disappointing overall compared to the previous model, but if you buy at an inexpensive price point, it gets the job done for a small room.
