Fits our V8 and does indeed funnel (long haired) cat hair quickly and efficiently.
Just as advertised, and works perfectly to get the patches of pet fur that always seem to crop up and gather. We have two long-haired cats, and needed something to spot-clean those patches without getting out the whole larger cleaning system. This is the mini, so if you're looking for a head to clean a large area this is not it. For one rug, piece of furniture, or a small room/area, this is perfect.

Great product
I was apprehensive about buying a knock-off brand brush head, but this looks and feels exactly like the name brand brush heads I've been buying way too often. The design of this one is so much better than the regular brush head. I used to have to take it apart every third use to clean the hair out of the roller and inside where the tiny metal piece spins, and if I didn't do it soon enough, the metal heating up from all the hair not allowing it to turn would melt the plastic. This one isn't even attached on that end so there's no way for hair to get twisted inside the tiny groove. Plus, it was half the cost!

worth the try!
works really good on rugs and my couch (fabric). it was a MIRACLE we found this, only downside is the hair can wrap around the barrel but its easy to remove. really good for a deep clean of pet hair

Received defective item but then sent replacement
As soon as I opened my package I noticed the box was open and damaged. The attachment was dirty and the small white brush was missing. I was willing to get over the packaging, however, the purple attachment brush does not rotate when I turn it on. It looks like it wants to rotate but it won't. I asked for a replacement so I will update my review once it is received. UPDATE: Replacement was sent and I received it within 2 days. It was brand new and works amazingly with my v11, catches all of the pet hair and more.

Fits great
I love this! With Three couch potato dogs this snaps onto my Dyson at the base and in just a few seconds it’ll pick up all the fur they’ve shed on the cushions without having to break out the full size vacuum

Stopped working after a couple of uses
This stopped working after a couple of uses. The motorized brush head won't rotate anymore.

This product this really badly made, I had issue detaching from my Dyson, it made a weird cracking noise, and it broke in couple of uses, disappointed
