Outperforms $200 flashlights all day
Actually a great flashlight and certainly worth the price. It outperforms my $200 flashlight and this one is smaller. Battery life lasts long, tons of different light modes. Low, normal, high, super high and strobe. Itโs a little tricky to figure out the different modes. Like a quick double click gives you the brightness setting. When on the brightest setting, the flashlight does get rather hot near the head where the lense is. Other than those two small complaints, I would say for a $30 flashlight, youโre certainly getting bang for you buck here all day. I liked it so much I just ordered another one.

This is a flashlight! ... Yes, Also a TAC Light!
It works far more effectively and efficiently than most. FACTs: Its monetary value, brightness, charging capability, battery life, compact size, versatility and its rugged durablity ... collectively, makes this ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC a must have. WHY? It works extremely well. Here are a few reasons why I love this ACEBEAM 1400 High Lumens Flashlight. 1. Once you've selected your desired light setting. The flashlight stays / remains on that setting each time you power it ON and OFF ... even while it's in Standby Mode. 2. The adjustment capabilities of this TAC light seemlessly converts from a top quality flashlight into a Super Torch light when you rapidly double click the light sequence button. This function is acheived when the flashlight is in Standby. Tripple clicks engages the Torch light to flash. QUESTION: Did someone say ... Bright, or ... BRIGHTER? ALSO NOTE: When the Torch light is on ... The tip of the TAC light gets HOT! real fast! However, It equally cools rapidly when you disengage the function. 3. With the Amber and the Clear/off White silicone caps that comes in the package ... ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC transforms into an emergency becon for the unexpected stranded in the dark, on a lonesome roadway, waiting for a tow truck, given the dreaded car failure ... or while you're out hiking the trails. You go off track and somehow, you end up getting lost in the woods. Knowing this, you need to track back, but its late night and it's dark. Here's another true to life experience ... Your vessel has lost power on the open seas, thus leaving you isolated in the pitch black, far away from other mariners. However, your rescuers are diligently searching for you, hoping to see a glimmer of light. In these extremes, having an ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC flashlight definitely helps in displaying your location ... as well as, illuminating your path home. ADDED FACTs: ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC is lite in weight, easy to use ... and constructed to endure the unintended knock arounds and the abusive drops ... due to, its rugged Aluminum frame. THE LOOK, THE FUNCTION and THE FEEL: The design is streamlined impressive, having the Power button center placed at the bottom of the cylindrical frame. This design functionality also, allows you to securely stand the flashlight upright, hands free, as you power through various tasks when using the Amber or the off White silicone caps to spread the illumination throughout your desired area. Likewise, the placement of the Light Sequence Mode / Standby button compliments the impressive ergonomics of the grippy frame. In additon to, the adjustable pocket clip which also clips to your baseball cap, when it's needed, makes EDCing this TAC light, paper weight ... Furthermore, this Matt blue TAC light is my standout favorite. Which concludes for me ... My DISLIKEs: Unfortunately ... "I have NONE."

Excellent purchase
Excellent flashlight for the money. High quality, portable, the rechargeable battery is pretty simple although I don't like that you have to take it out to charge it but I've had to deal with worst things. Got it on sale and it was a fantastic deal, I wouldn't not look further if you need a flashlight this style

Small, But Mighty! Worth the price is subjective...
I bought this flashlight in October 2025 and so far it has been very useful at work. I did encounter the problem more than once where the flashlight wouldn't turn on. But then I put it on the charger and it worked again. It does get hot if you have the brightest setting, but I don't use it on that particular setting for a long time. Overall, I really like how compact it is and the blue is beautiful! I dedicated a star for the mishap of it not working more than once and for the battery taking awhile to fully charge. Unsure if the $25 price tag is worth it for this EDC flashlight. But for my needs, it gets the job done and I've gotten compliments on it! UPDATE 2026: I love this flashlight and it's better than the $55 one I got off Amazon that had better reviews BUT it's unreliable because I've dropped it and use it everyday. The battery needs to be charged frequently as it stops working. But when I charge it, it says it has a full charge. Very baffling. I still love it though despite this!

Extremely bright
As the title says, this little flashlight is extremely bright on the high mode and yes, Iโve heard people say that it gets hot and it does but you have to expect that with a light this bright. I will say this years ago I bought a stream light flashlight that was $100 or more and this little flashlight shines a beam just as far and just as bright as that hundred dollar flashlight. Also one more thing the battery that comes in this flashlight keep it charged or buy you an extra like I did because it is nowhere near as bright with regular AA lithium batteries in it. Trust me, Iโve tested it.

Great light at great value
Excellent light for a fantastic price. Really good UI that prioritizes tactical applications yet remains useful for EDC needs. The addition of white and orange โemergencyโ caps is extra special as it turns the light into a makeshift lantern/torch. My only gripe is the length is a bit long (5.9 inches), making it a snug fit for some pockets. Overall fantastic!

Iโm impressed for $30
First few day review. I got the blue version with the SFT-25R LED, and honestly, itโs the one to go for if you want a tactical or self-defense use for around $30. it has 2 modes the default is Tactical mode. itโs always in turbo each time you turn it on. In daily mode I believe it will always stay in the last mode you leave it on except moonlight It puts out a max of 1,400 lumens on turbo for 1 minute before dropping to 500 lumens, with an impressive 23,104 candela (when itโs on the 1,400-lumen turbo mode). That said, I wish the user interface (UI) was a bit different, especially with how standby mode works. In daily mode, Iโd much rather have a simple order of moonlight, low, medium, high, turbo. without needing standby mode at all. Right now, to get into moonlight mode, you have to: 1. Turn on the light with the tail cap. 2. Press the side button once (this turns off the LED and makes the side button the on/off button, with its green LED constantly lit). 3. Then, long-press the side button to get into moonlight. Overall itโs a solid light. Good materials, good weight, nice touch of knurling, super bright, rechargeable. Itโs an easy light to use other than getting too moonlight. Which can be a bit tedious when you just want to turn it on and have the lowest light possible from the get go. Know what you want out of a light. I know we want to just think itโs simple all flashlights are the same, but they arenโt. What purpose do you have for it? Do you need distance to see out a couple hundred yards? Do you need to light up an entire room? Higher lumens generally means itโs going to be a floodlight. Higher candela means itโs going to have a hotspot and get more distance and a concentrated beam. Iโd definitely buy myself another one and plan on getting a couple as gifts.

Love it. Just wish it would stay in EDC mode.
Only had this light for a couple of weeks, but I've already come to appreciate it. My only gripe so far is that the damned thing will not stay in EDC mode! Every time I set it to EDC mode and come back to it a few hours or a day later, it has set itself right back into Taclight mode and blinds the piss out of you on turbo setting. The size, for me, is excellent. I have very 2x/3x glove hands and most AA and EDC lights disappear in them. This one confidently sticks out and I could easily use it as a Kubaton. I love that it is AA sized and dual fuel capable. It is definitely bright enough and the "moonlight" mode is dim enough when you need to save your night eyes. The traffic cone attachments are spiffy, but I doubt I'll ever have need of them.

Ein Wolf im Schafspelz โ 1400 Lumen im Stift-Format!
