Is this g4 or g5 gear oil i need g4 for older transmission?

The year really does not matter except to look up what type of oil is needed, if it calls for ATF, then gear oil will not work, if it calls for 90W gear oil, then the 75-90W will work, some times in hot or extreme you will need 140W, look in your glove box manual for type needed or look online, I run this lucas in my motorcycle final drive and transmission, hope this helps...or call Orileys and ask

My old Dana 60 limited slip needed the additive when using this Lucas synthetic gear oil regardless I what It says on the bottle I'm sure it's fine in a mechanical locking differential but my experience using in my old limited slip required some Kendall additive

Can I use Lucas 70-140 synthetic gear oil in 2006 f350 rear differential with no limited slip Additive?

70 -140 is for heavy duty applications. I use it on my 2500 ram Cummins with a Dana 80 rear dif and a Dana 70 open front diff.  
Factory provided limited slip rear differentials suck.  I quit depending on my limited slip Diff within the first year I had my 99 Diesel Ram therefore, I quit depending on additives.  If your limited slip is still works, use the additive recommended by the dealer.  I might not help, but it will not hurt.
Better yet, swap it out for a Detroit Locker, or something milder if the Detroit Locker is too much for you.  If you use your F 350 mostly for towing,  you may want to go for a Tru-Trac or something else with gears, no clutches.  There are also electric and air activated locking differentials that work great in towing applications since they allow you to decide when to, or when not to lock your rear end.  But they all will cost you a left arm and a right testicle.
